I attended Robert Vogel's advanced action pistol course at the Richmond Rod & Gun Club in April 2013. Here Vogel shares some tips on pistol reloading.

I always know it’s going to be a good video when the first thing I hear is the wind blow across the mic

fourth gen glocks have some issues with the mag falling out. Ive noticed it comes out about half way.

How the hell do you grab the mag from the side? What was that dude talking about?

Excellent instruction, but the video is missing at least one complete uninterrupted live or dry fire demo of a reload. Fortunately, Rob can be seen performing live fire speed reloads in other videos.

Dry fire drills with reloads are still useful are they not? He's demonstrated the reload a few times, and the drawing of the magazines a few times, it's just a matter of putting those mini-drills all together, something that we all should be doing at home, and videoing ourselves for self critiquing, visually learning what we're each doing correctly and incorrectly...

I fought the wind and the wind won...oh Richmond should have known there by the pacific is unforgiving

At first I thought "oh that bay looks like RRGC... but a lot of bays look like that". Then I heard the wind and knew for sure it was RRGC.

in Italy if reload your gun like him, putting the gun so high, you're out of the run. i don't really understand why, because i've a mountain befront of me, can i come to live in the USA?
@IR-xy3ij3 жыл бұрын
It doesn't break any IPSC rules either. I reload like this all the time.
@grillo19853 жыл бұрын
@@IR-xy3ij in Italy you can’t during a competition.

@@grillo1985 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jtWbotaByrfRl5c.html That's how they reload in Italy too. There is no difference between IPSC and USPSA rules with regards to reloading. Everyone tilts their gun sideways to expose the magwell.

if the finish of your mags dont wear off almost completely in a matter of 2 years you dont practice reloads often enough
@jpenna19768 жыл бұрын
+minervius That would be tough one with Glock mags.

Professional sound, it ain't. The fix is one of those furry mic covers, like a Rode Dead Kitten...

Something to think about: around 3:36ish, camera pans through the group, note the age range of the few you can see...awesome...
