Yeah, and how she had missed it. Poor thing. What has happened to humanity. It's even the same with the way (many of us) we care for our elderly and even our children... Poorer people try harder than our (material) rich society's, and it is all because of where the priorities, lays. It’s so heartbreaking to see the despair and trauma in the eyes of these incredible animals. They are so sweet and are clinging onto life. To see them bounce back because of the love and care that you and your team provide is truly magical and restores my faith in humanity. When Eldad was sitting and trying to get Leesa to get on his lap, you could see in her eyes how badly she wanted love, and also how scared she was. The need for love won out over her fear, and you could almost see her thinking "I'll try to trust you, human, but *please* don't let me down". And Eldad got kisses a minute or two later, because he's a good man who loves animals! Thank you, Eldad!

Like many of you, I love the animals and really love the rescue and rehab work being done here. But, as with many other programs, segments etc, there is a mildly disturbing trend towards anthropomorphism in the comments and on occasion, even in the uploads themselves. While I totally get the, "What's the harm?" response, I disagree. One of the best ways to love and respect an animal is to love and respect it _as_ an animal. Imbuing animals with singularly human characteristics hinders our understanding of animals. At best. At worst, the lack of respect and understanding can prove fatal, both for humans _and_ animals.

Leesa's, rescue was April 2017. It is now September 03, 2019. I hope this beautiful sweet dog has gotten a loving furrever home. She was so relieved to be saved. Thank you Hope for Paws.

I had a pit bull once, and he died. Everyone thinks pits are "so dangerous" and all of that. It's based on how you treat them and raise them. My dog was the most sweetest, cuddly, and amazing. He was my best friend and I still cry to this day thinking about him. This video was awesome and truly amazing. It shows pits aren't dangerous as people think they are. And no, I'm not going to ask for likes because my dog died. It's a stamens I'm talking about that truly is deep down in my heart. Thank you for this. I loved it❤️

From experience...A socialized dog is a good dog. Pit bulls that are unsocialized tend to be very over protective of their owner which is where problems occur as they are strong and large. Any unsocialized dog runs the risk of a bad encounter with new people, as they don't really know how to react, just common sense.

At the Twenty øne cry babies my family and I had a big dog named Chompers I named him when I was like 4 it's cause I loved super Mario 64 and chompers was one of the enemies and he was my favorite and Chompers recently died it was on my sisters baby shower he ran outside up the block so my brother and I think my cousin went to get him but when they almost had him he went in middle of the street and unfortunately he was hit by a car right before my brother's very eyes I was told he cried I would too Chompers was only 9 he was so friendly and every time I think of him I feel sad and start to cry I started balling in middle of the night and that's why 2016 was the worst year of my life not to mention my great grandma died she was I think 94 there was so much death in the year 2016 😢 :'( I miss Chomps

You should be honest here. Eldad & his team is on the forefront of videographed for internet rescue groups but they are not the only ones. I'm certain MANY more are needed but don't minimize the efforts of the others out there working silently (without posted videos) toward the same goal! That said, I, too, commend Eldad & his team for jobs well done & for heart-warming posts of many successful rescues & adoptions!

I did some research on the company and they have not provide income information to the state since 2014. They are dodging criminal prosecution. They are making videos to make money as they are not actually a good shelter. Could not find an address to go to so I could adopt a pet. No way to contact the company for information besides how to give my money to them. It's just some people pocketing the money to buy nice mansions and sport cars. Look it up youself and you will see. Hope you stop donating to these crooks

Yeah, rotties are my favorite dog, and I've never had one even so much as snap at me in my whole life. My rotties were always the sweetest teddybears. They didn't even jump when they were excited to see you, cuse they knew they were too big, so they'd just lick my hands and feet and nuzzle me. Such good sweet dogs.

I agree,the breed is banned here in whole of U.K.,any dog that looks remotely ‘pitbullish”’ is taken away and assessed by the police....many times they destroy the dogs,just heartbreaking..BUT it’s all because of the idiots that train them to be aggressive, so sad.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

bleep bleep same my dog (he died from bowel obstruction) was the sweetest thing he never bit anyone in his 13 years and this little mutt came and bit his ankles! he also never barked (expect once at the mailman) he even shared his water with pigeons! it gets me angry when people think pitbulls are "evil"

Jb Cs: Pit bulls been bred to be aggressive and fight. However, environment and owner determines whether that predisposition surfaces. Many jerks get pit bulls to game in fights or to create ferocious guard dogs. Others (good owners) give good loving environment, stable loving, calm home. It makes all the difference.

Seeing her run and play makes my heart so happy. I'm honored to be allowed to donate monthly to Hope for Paws. And honored to be able to donate to this past fundraiser. I thank God for the extra income I received, as that made me able to give more than just my normal monthly amount. It is totally worth more than I can ever give to help these people who help all these animals. It's a blessing.

I would love to have her! But I already have two rescue dogs and right now my family can't afford anymore (dad was pretty upset about getting a second) The first is a Irish Jackrussle named Jack. A family bought him as a 9month pup for a gift to their 5yearold with cancer. Unfortunately the little girl didn't live to meet him, and for the mother it was too heartbreaking to keep him. So she was going to dump him in the nearest shelter. My family happened to be visiting the day she was going to dump him, and we were able to take him in ourselves. In February he turned six and is a very happy, healthy, stubborn butt head haha. The second is a BorderCollie/Lab mix named Pepper. He was a stray that wandered in December, during the worst freeze we'd seen. He was soaking wet, starving, half frozen, and very much afraid. We couldn't approach him at first, he would get so scared he'd trip over himself trying to run away. But he eventually warmed up to us, and told us this by sitting in front of the door weeping, poor baby! We let him inside to get warm and dry, gave him some food as well. He was still pretty scared so I personally sat by him for the next five hours gently petting him. We identified his age as a little more than a year. Him and Jack get along fairly well, and we realized we accidentally gave them a cheesy names. "Pepper Jack" Both are happy and healthy. They sleep in my room and Pepper paws at you until you pet him. The longer we had him, the more we found signs of abuse. Which is likely why he was so terrified. He's still pretty shy, but also very loving! I love both my dogs very much!

The other week I also helped out in a rescue mission. A stray puppy had gotten trapped under an old concert slab. My best friend and I were the only two small enough to get her. The operation took 4 1/2 hours of bare handed digging. We had no trowel and shovels were too big. When we started, the hole was so small you could barely get your face In. By the end we were up to our ankles into the earth. We got the puppy out, scared but healthy, and she was rejoined with her litter mates whom had been rescued the previous day

They are so mindless they start doing it themselves cause they don't think they are some creature with intelligence and feeling who could light up your day to have a friend who isn't human but animal. I went to a man's house to buy some items he had on Craigslist and his two pit bulls just loved all over me and gave me the red carpet. And I was a total stranger to them. Instead of being there 10 minutes I ended up being there 30 minutes because one just have to have their share of loving before they can leave.

I hate when people say that Pit Bulls are aggressive and that being aggressive this in their blood, because it’s not if you treat the pit bull nicely and loving, their just like another dog. Dog are mammals we are mammals so we should treat them like we treat people!

I am now a supporter for this organization. Y’all do such great rescues. I love your vids. Sometimes happy tears unfortunately A lot of sad tears too. Please people continue to call any organization for help if you see an abandoned animal.
