James Wellington I prefer Ford personally. Farrell defensively is solid but he's predictable in attack. Problem with Ford is that he's too small he can't handle it when other teams send hard runners down his channel all day. I would also point out that I wrote this comment a year ago when Ford was playing much better, this year's 6 nations was a bit quiet from Ford and Farrell was a monster in defence.

Farrell is better defensively. Ford is better offensively. I prefer Farrell. He's flexible at both fly-half and centre. Ford can only play fly-half.

David C I think Ford is in general a far better fly half. But hes not physical enough for the game these days, its a shame. In fact I would even say that Farrell being preferred to Ford as fly half just about sums up how much emphasis the game has on size!

i think he would be more comfortable demonstrating a shoulder charge since he practices it more than his kicking.
