Last Euros beat a shambolic Germany, Ukraine, and Denmark and then came up against Italy and lost. In the World Cup 2022 beat Senegal and lost to France, World Cup 2018 got Columbia then Sweden and lost to Croatia. They beat the easier opponents with a struggle then lose to the bigger opponents.
