An issue with our motor earlier in the day prevented us from completing any laps during the official qualifying session so we were forced to start this ten-lap pre-final from the back of the grid. As much as we love having a large kart count during our races, on this particular day, there were 41 karts entered!
For this race, we ended up starting 38th since there were a few others who also didn't record a lap time during the qualifying session. To make things even more interesting, we had some minor contact going into turn one right after taking the green flag which slowed us even more by putting us back to last place.
How many karts can we pass in only ten laps? The finishing position determines the starting position for the final race so ride along and enjoy!
