The ball velocity is night and day last yr to this. Russ and Justin can spin it. Kenny just looked like he couldnt get half the velocity they do. Bet these wideouts are way happier with these two

Very true I think Kenny’s knock when coming out for the draft, was his small hands, thus wearing the gloves so yeah I would have to agree. I only commented because we have him now and you can see the same thing.

Really hope there will be packages that involve getting JF into the game. Bring him in for 2-3 drives a game. If RW has momentum going, then leave in but if it gets stale or stalls out, get JF in. Just be sure RW knows a head of time that JF will be getting reps in the game, so don't get all "Butt Hurt" when he gets put in.

Fields is the future for Pitt, no question about that!
@702TifosiGambler
@702TifosiGambler 29 күн бұрын
@@jadedtoday1019 Two fold but Pitt can get him for cheap so they'll use the SF blueprint having a QB on a rookie/cheap deal and build the roster. Art Smith is great in the run game he won with Tannehill who was avg at best. For Pitt if Watt,Queen and Minkah stay healthy they'll be a real X factor. Still need another big time WR and a playmaker at tailback but they'll be scary. Love the +3 in the opener.

All I hear is people talking about Russell time in Denver and tbh it was never gonna or supposed to work the Steelers are a way different team then the broncos Pittsburgh coaching and ownership is TOP OF THE LINE Denver on the other hand is not at all Russ knows all he have to do is come along for the ride and hold on!!! Denver he had to play savior when that was never him that’s why Russell so happy he knows what’s about to happen just watch!!! I’m all in on the Steelers this year
@brandonfoster5892
@brandonfoster5892 29 күн бұрын
Very good point a lot of teams in the nfl have coach instability and poorly run franchises, fields comes from one as well lmaoo, and when Sean Payton arrived it was apparent that Russ wasn’t necessarily wanted and a guy like Russ is gonna perform highest when he’s wanted and Mike Tomlin and the Steelers REALLY want him so Russ seems super happy
@DeCurtaRican
@DeCurtaRican 28 күн бұрын
I strongly disagree. Russ has never been along for any ride and there were stretches of years that he had to carry the Seahawks! 2015-2020, that was all Russ! And he carried the team as a rookie and in 2014. The only year the LlB and Run game were really prominent was 2013, and yes, that was the year they won the SB. Even then, Russ was equally responsible for getting the team to that SB. It was a team effort. But Russ was the primary reason they went back to a SB, not to mention the reason they almost went to one when Russ was a rookie and absolutely the reason they even made the playoffs in 2015. Half the team was injured for major parts of that season, and Beast Mode was out for the entire season. Russ responded by going on the greatest 7-week stretch a QB has ever had: 23 TDs, 0 INTs, 7-0 record in that span. People don’t know what happened in Seattle and too many talking heads are spreading false info. Russ couldn’t save Denver because Denver had structural and organizational oroboens. No QB could r gelled them, which is why Aaron Rodgers didn’t want to go there despite his favorite O.C. being the HC. Russ will be relied upon to do a lot, as he should be, but you can’t put any QB on the field with the garbage Denver had and expect to be highly competitive.
@furmontana814
@furmontana814 28 күн бұрын
You see what you said in 2013 he had the running game and the LOB that’s all you just basically saying what I just said when Russ did try to do everything what happened? They didn’t win the Super Bowl and it eventually made him leave Seattle why ? Because that’s NOT HIM when he do what he asked and like I said just come along for the RIDE he has the most success and history shows it I know football and that’s just facts

Now, people thought Russ hated Pete’s system and wanted everything to be all about him. That wasn’t true, and he’s proving it right now. Arthur Smith’s approach is almost identical to Pete’s. The difference is that Mike Tomlin would never neglect his O-Line to build a defense. The Steelers believe in a balanced approach to roster-building. Pete Carroll took Russ for granted. If he had protected Russ and gotten Russ a good young TE, Russ would never have wanted out of Seattle.

Have #14 do some WR check down plays to create a rest and rotation for the big play down field ..... Metcalf and Lockett would do that and they had a check down system too to get a breather if needed and it worked really well if he had to dish it out to the receiver on the sideline

Justin fan here. I am really hoping that Justin speeds up his reads. I see he is still a tick behind russ in throwing but I hope there is a reason for that. Also, I heard that they let him put his right foot forward to undo the Getsy coaching. Good. Get Justin comfortable. I like the way the steelers are looking but I am wondering about WR2. is it Austing or Wilson and where do these two play?
@DeCurtaRican
