Learning to trust your prosthetic knee is one of the biggest obstacles on your road to recovery or competing in sport. On a tennis court these two drills can get your comfortable learning to trust and “ride your knee” while at the same time maintaining balance. The second drill emphasizes using smalls steps to work the abductor and inductor muscles which will help you walking, jogging, running, or dancing. Make sure to have two individuals next to you at all times while attempting these if you are new to using an above the knee prosthesis.
