there's nothing wrong with being thin. believe it or not but some people are naturally born thin so really you guys are just weight shaming skinny people ONCE again but it's okay because when it comes to skinny people it's not weight shaming right

@@nnn9854 honey, im not skinny-shaming him. im genuinely sorry if it came off that way. theo was the one who brought up his appearance and the comment about looking too thin himself. if he hadn’t said anything, i wouldn’t have commented on it either. because im a firm believer in other people’s bodies being their choice. but what you need to think about is that in the kpop industry, the idols often are no longer given control (a choice) over their bodies. they’re put on harsh diets to lose weight in short amounts of time to prepare for concerts/tours or diets to lose weight when they were perfectly healthy already. its all about “aesthetics.” it’s not okay. it’s the reason why many idols end up passing out on stage or after practices. because the malnourishment plus the energy they exerted while dancing/performing was too much. it’s a known fact that most of east asia values thinness and being small, which is fine but can have underlying issues. some idols have come forward about developing EDs like anorexia or bulimia which is an awful thing. so all i was saying was that i was glad to hear through that comment that theo can recognize when he feels his body is underweight; that he hasn’t been made to think he’ll never be skinny enough by korea’s strict expectations. he can see that he’s skinny, he can recognize he’s thin. it made me happy. there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being thin, i’ve been thin most of my life. but if a person thinks they’ve lost too much weight, it’s always good for them to be able to recognize that. that’s all.
