I have the iPhone XR and recently in the past few months Google hasn’t updated their iOS apps. Finally they updated their Gmail app though. I use the Google ecosystem, I use Gmail, Docs, Drive, Maps, Photos, Keep, Assistant and they work fine on the iPhone. If Google ever said they would dump Apple and never put their apps on iPhone etc again I would dump the iPhone tomorrow. Google products make the iPhone worth using IMO.

@Matthew Henry thanks I've been going back and forth with the decision of whether I should get an iPhone 11 or Pixel 4XL. I'm leaning more towards the pixel but not so sure.. What would you say?

@@sleezzzy the regular one is ok, it can last all day with some adjustments, the xl version is probably way better I have the regular one and with medium use it last me all day If you are a power user like me the regular one gets around 5 and a half hours sot with some adjustments, chose the small one cause i like compact devices and im always near a charger , i can only imagine what the xl is cappable of If you dont mind not having an ultra wide lens or better video camera then the pixel is for you, that to me are the only 2 downsides... The lack of those things, the rest i dare say the pixel does it better in almost every way, optimization in pixels are great, the user experience in android is way more open and comfortable compared to apple.

yeah the non ultra wide... that is an oef for me... If you only have 2 sensors, then make it the ultra wide. p.s for flipped front camera. i think this has something to do with how people see themselves in the mirror and that is why some phones flip it I think?

5:10 - It's a setting in the camera. If you swipe down and hit the settings, you can turn off "Save selfie as previewed" so it flips it like you want, or turn it on so how you see it in viewfinder is exactly as it is saved, like in Snapchat.

For astro photography mode. You have to zoom into the pics post processing.you will notice that the pics are more clear as compared to the iPhone. That's why the processing time takes longer.

The more videos I watch on the Pixel 4/XL.. I'm gallon in love. I seen in another video, a speed test. It's the fastest Android phone now. It renders files faster, much faster than the OnePlus line. And that's insanely fast.. Guess I'll find out tomorrow when I receive mine. If I'm not happy. I know the iPhone 11 Pro Max will be the next best all around along with the Note 10+.

the pixel 4 is the most disappointing phone made this year. mediocre camera quality compared to the rest, no ultra wide camera, underwhelming battery, motion sense is mediocre aswell, "secure" face unlock unlocks your phone when your eyes are closed. for $800, not worth it

Out of curiosity, why would you want to flip the photo in the first place? Why is this an option instead of taking a photo of what you actually see? If you really want to flip a picture, every photo editing app in the world does it, but again, why would you want to? I’ve always wondered why various phone vendors take reverse pictures by default.

Apple: we have a very sophisticated Face ID system, you just need to look at your phone and it unlocks. Google: who need to look at their phones? You can open your pixel with your eyes closed.

Turn off ‘Require Attention for Face ID’, and you can unlock your iPhone with eyes closed as well! However, this is less secure, because when your sleeping, somebody can just point your phone, both Pixel and iPhone, at your face.
