Pixel 7 Pro - Now with less issues | 2 month review

Күн бұрынI've had the Pixel 7 Pro for a while now, and I really like to let it fall into my daily life before seeing how things go, so here it is 2 months later, where things have settled and I've had a chance for issues to surface.
The Pixel 7 Pro is very much a great interation from the Pixel 6 Pro!

I received my Pixel 7 pro recently and I have found two bugs. The screen has a yellowish tint and is kind of washed out maybe due to the new OLED panel. And the camera pictures when zoom-in lacks details and border. Did you also face a similar problem or these are bugs unique to my handset itself?

If you go into Display > Colours Are you able to change it? Natural is a bit more yellowish that many are used to, I do prefer adaptive myself Unsure on the border, but zooming in on photos things don't look the best - have a look at my Pixel photo comparison video, I have photo examples there which are zoomed in, compare if you're seeing the same thing

im just need to tell you and ask 1 question sir . are you facing the rattle noises from the camera ? or its normal because most of google pixel from 6 to 7 pro encounter that noisy and claim that is normal because the telephoto stabilizier ? for you is it normal ? tq

I honestly hadn't noticed it before, but just gave it a shake, and yeah - a pretty noticeable rattle. I do believe I saw mention of it being related to the telephoto too, so it does seem normal - just hope it's not too annoying

Really enjoyed your review! Picked up the 7 Pro on a great deal from Google Fi and am loving it compared to my previous Pixel 5. The display, haptics, and premium feel of the phone are unparalleled for the price point (even at full price). I thought that jumping up to a much larger display size would hamper the usability, but it is surprisingly usable one-handed. Coming from someone who has average sized hands, I'm surprised I can type and reach the notification shade fairly easily. Definitely the best Pixel yet! Had the OG Pixel XL, regular Pixel 3, and the Pixel 5 and am pretty happy with everything about it.

When taking photos of pets, if you tap on the animal on the view finder, the focus will follow and stay on your pet helping to get a better pic

Yep, this does absolutely work The complaint is it doesn't have to be done for humans, as the algorithm knows what it's looking at - would be good for it to work as well for animals at some stage Otherwise, manual focus until then (if I notice it's out of focus before snapping)

I didn't notice it as much (compared to other devices like the 6Pro) but I'm generally inside anyway Would be nice if they would do flat screens, but Androids don't seem keen

@@FilthyCasualTech Yes. Regular Pixel screens are way better. The same goes for Galaxy phones. Ultra screens reflect at the curves especially while watching videos.

Its really shocking that pixel 7 pro December update still didn't fix this.if your device is lost or stolen there is no way to find its location anyone can disable location,data and put the device in aeroplane mode or turn it off. No pin or password needed 😊.I am returning my pixel sh*t as soon as my s22 ultra delivered.i have reported many major bugs network most of The time in Edge/H+ even if its full 5g coverage area I have to turn on and off aeroplane mode almost 50 times a day. I'm sick of this. The vodafone UK told me it is a major issue with a lot of customers and I have to deal with Google they will fix it but Google won't do anything they busy designing pixel 8. m.kzfaq.infopppoDfPXgFE

I'm actually surprised you can't disable the quick settings menu while the device is locked - I had just assumed you could, as custom ROMs have been doing it for ages... Looking for that option... and yeah, really weird to not include this 😭
