Hi ershad, can you confirm with google whether the p8 has software locked AF on selfie cam. Since, both p8 & p8 pro have same sensor but pro has AF.

@Irshad I just wanted to let you know even though the S23 doesn't have any macro functionality on sheet but it can shoot macro with its 3x telephoto lens I have personally used it and gives remarkable results. I shot it at artificial light I believe it should give better results in natural light also.

In S23 camera assistant if you set picture softening to medium that oversharpening problem can be easily overcomed . Try it.

According to this review, more "details" the better. There's more to it. Image artefacts is a thing. Pixel pictures contain a lot of artefacts and you can see them when you zoom in all the way. Also pixel images tend to have a lot of nasty noises ( chroma noise ) in low light shots which is not present is Samsung.

Phones are not just about the camera but everything else too. I picked the Samsung s23 because it has better battery life better connection better optimization better stability and everything seems to work well. Camera is subjective but I do like the pixel still camera better. Other than that Samsung has the better overall camera.

But from few days when i am trying to take pics like him jumping or doing something fast it's not capturing that. The pics are getting all blur. I currently have both phones. Both are excellent, but the power difference is large if you want to game at all. The s23 can run a new game like honkai star rail at 60fps on high, the P8 struggles with constant hitching. I actually prefer the P8 (camera, UI, etc) but the S23 performance advantage is undeniable.

I do use single take. Once per year lol. It is so cool but idk why i don't use it that often

Too much heating problem in Pixel 8, I purchased s23 on 25 October and also compare with iphone 15 in Reliance digital. And 3x telephoto is the deal breaker for me.

It's a difficult choice, they are both so close at photography. But video and that extra telephoto lens makes the galaxy a better choice. Also i think i prefer boosted colours more than real tone atleast in India. Not to mention the S23 is better in performance, battery and heat management than the pixel.

Tbh, both are great but Pixel 8 has better battery life, UI, way more updates, AI etc. S23 for me has an added advantage of 3x lens and One UI specific features. Both are not great for heavy gaming tho.

Boy...oversaturated colors on s23 are fixed by switching off scenery optimizer and setting picture smoothing on medium in camera assistant. Get some basic info before You start becoming tech KZfaqr and mislead general public. Embarrassing

You can install Google Camera in Samsung anytime but vice versa is not true. I am using Motorola with Gcam Mod. And it's fantastic, close to pixel in photography.

Samsung has a better overall camera and also don't forget about the better after sale support from samsung and also the better chipset that doesn't overheat unnecessarily, also the basic function of calling and network reception is better on samsung .

At first glance samsung always looks better because they use noise reduction and high saturation. Its when you start taking photos of animals & people you realise their processing is blotchy and has no detail.

I have recently purchased s23 , The phone is amazing , its camera is so good . Portrait photos looks like they are taken from DSLR . The only drawback is its looks which looks just like other midrage samsung phones. Definitely go for samsung as it costa less than pixel. I got mine for 62k 256gb in offline store. Definitely recommend s23 over iphone 14 and pixel 8.
