I've been using the Pixel 8a for a couple days now and honestly it's been great. Sure it isn't flagship or anything but it does everything I need it to do. The form factor is great, I miss using a phone with one hand. The bezel doesn't bother me at all, I barely even notice it.

Googles stack of devices is quite perfect imo. With rumors of the 9 having a smaller 9 pro (which I would have loved to see a while ago), having to not lose all the amazing core functionality and still have a great main camera (lets face it, 99% of our shots are shot "in the moment" and we just use the main) is fantastic news. Crazy how everyone in my family now and extended family has a pixel. Its been my go to recommendation for people who just need a good "smart" phone that can take good pictures too.

This video awesome Japan, great music background :), I just order a Pixel 8a in white and watching this video it being next to the steam deck lol i just got a steam deck a month very amazing device and you showing Chrono Trigger one of my all time fav game playing when i was young ... great game... also i'm excited for FFXIV dawntrail next month :)

Love this whole review. Still rocking my Google pixel 7A and the 8A is also a great option. I'm still going to stick with my phone though. Hopefully Google will continue to update it. Circle to search has been my most used feature this year. I actually use it for a very specific reason. When I need to highlight text in a video or search for a song, I can just press and hold on the home button instead of having to do the old multitasking method

The bezels do not bother me. I think some people talk down on it just to jump on the bandwagon.

Just bought it really love the phone chin bothers me a little but not anything really bad charging speed don't matter much cause I charge at night it lasts whole day with 8+hrs screen on time at place where temp is 30+°c

I'm not josh but if it was my money I would buy the pixel. One good reason when u spend your money u need a company that will take care of u. In a year if you have a problem Google will replace it. Having said that u might not need the pro so why not consider buying this and get a device with 7 years of updates and save some money. I would just buy the 8a and choose the color you like. Good luck bud

Here in Portugal there's been some agressive deals of the Pixel 8A, i got mine a week ago for only 299€, some people even got it for less, after trading in an old device, for this price there's no phone on the market with this kind of camera (specially for photos) and software + AI features.

Same. Visibly there’s not much difference. Physically, it means you’ll have less accidental touches along the edges of the screen.

I wish Poland has the same prices as USA but in Polish currency. You buy 13 x Pixel 8A for your average monthly sallary in USA. In Poland we can buy 2 .... TWO PIECES.

to me camera looks good enough and is upgrade of my 8.1 nokia with zeiss camera.. i mean its not amazing but iphone 15 max neither.. if you want to zoom in good and get high quality pictures you should not use phones for that

Bad PWM, 2015 bezels, Gorilla glass 3, really google? poor battery life, Exynos (sorry, Tensor), slow charging, slow finger print sensor, for $500? No thanks.
