I received my metal mesh band last night. I was a little upset there that instructions were not included. Took me a while to figure out the proper position for the straps.

Can you confirm that the "Google Metal Mesh Band" works on Pixel Watch 1? You didn't show in the video. All sources / tech specs at google says it doesn't, but I would like to understand what's the incompatibility.

Can the mesh band be removed from the lugs?

Hi there, I don't think it's been designed with that in mind. I haven't tried to remove it either. Looking at it, there is no space to put anything to push it open. I think if I tried to remove it, it's highly likely to get damaged, and as it's a pretty expensive strap, I didn't attempt it either.
