Pixels and Peacock is an experimental exploration, combining the digital world of pixels, the imitation world of dance theatre and the real world of nature.
Premiered on stage in 2016 in Xperimental Media Theatre Xmpl UCI in collaboration with Prof John Crawford and Morgan Embry.
Launched the digital version for East meets West International Dance festival 2021 virtually under the artistic direction of Prof Tong Wang and Prof Lisa Naugle

THIS! 😀 This is ART! Art that delights, inspires, innovates, pulls its audience in, makes the viewer revisit multiple times and find something else to notice each time whilst delight again in what was noticed before. All without doing things just for the sake of being "different" and/or shock value, woke value, be different for the sake of it value, none of which are of any value at all but just intrinsically devalue any art. First let me tell you how beautiful you look. Digital in this art form is indeed a big leap! While I think anything you do looks good, the digital will take some getting used to. The digital adds glamor and made me appreciate the real even more. Due to the choppy nature of switching back and forth digital/real, it was hard for me to concentrate but this can easily be fixed. The special effects from the digital look good and I am sure there will be a place for it. Use it with some discretion........So glad to see you, everybody doing well I hope :)

I've always liked your works since you keep innovating and experimenting everytime with your conceptual dance performances. This time integrating art with technology was even more exciting to watch Sis !! I've heard that male peacocks 🦚 dance better than female ones but you've proved it wrong atleast with respect to humans Sis !! Great team work 👏!! Fabulous experience watching a combined techno-art brilliance !!
