Canada may appear bad at times, but I assure you with every fiber of my being that when compared to countries like the US, Canada's government functions quite well. If you think Canada is Hell, you haven't experienced half of the worst the world has to offer.

In Brazil, the low incarceration rate isn't indicative of safety; rather, it's due to a system that frequently releases criminals. It's common for criminals to be arrested multiple times only to be released shortly after, leading to high rates of recurrence without sufficient punitive measures in place. I wish there were around ten times more people in jail here in Brazil.
