I have not heard the original (yes, I live under a rock) AND never heard of Pixie Lott either, BUT I sure love this cover! Makes me smile, makes me want to dance. Plus she's got a fabulous, soulful voice! :)

Okay..I simply don't get why this beautiful young woman with an amazing voice and style isn't more present on radio stations, tv etc.? She clearly has more talent then most of those called "singers" that we here day by day. I just don't get it. Where is the good music taste of our generation?

That's actually the reason why Pixie did this cover - she heard Lorde's cover of her own song and loved it so much she wanted to do this in return.
