I cant believe i was so slow to start listening to this album..i guess i was afraid of more Indy Cindy 'staple sound ' pixies...this is so fresh with such a different strong direction from the 'whole' band...Not just Frank

Shit--I saw them in Houston in April 2017 and never even knew this album had come out. Pixies were awesome that day, the crowd was awesome--great show; absolutely legendary band.

Sorry haters but this albums rocks. the only difference its released like 30 years later. if this was released back then, it would be an album we remember. cause it was released now, people will compare to nostalgia, to what we've soaked in for 30 years. I like this better than Trompe for sure. worthy of being a Pixies album

they've been around for a long time and have a lot of albums, 20 or more last time i checked. people lose interest in bands who don't constantly get into airplane/bus accidents or have band member deaths caused by drug overdose and alcohol. pixies are awesome though and they deserve more credit than they get because of how their style can change drastically from album to album but thats why i love them and still listen to them. This album is definitely not their greatest though, in my opinion.

I miss Kim Deal. The Pixies just aren't the same without her. Listening to The Breeders and The Amps reveals just how much of the Pixies original sound was influenced by her. I saw the Pixies live in 2017, and every time Paz sang, I cringed. She cannot sing in key. I'm hopeful for the upcoming album though.
