To be honest: my first thought was "another KZfaqr showing off with content aware fill". But it´s so much more... you REALLY know your stuff. I´ve been using Photoshop for quite some time, starting with 2.5. I learned more or less by trying and failing. But oftentimes I have no clue what exactly "Multiply" does or WHY I need to play with the Green channel in order to change Magenta. What really amazes me about all your videos is how you explain WHY things work the way they do. Actually I watch a lot of your videos about techniques I´ve been using for years but couldn´t really tell why exactly they lead to a better result. Sharpening basically means to increase contrast on the edges? Eye opener... I do have experienced the effects of oversharpening and found my way around it, but getting a better understanding of WHY thing happen is really really helpful. And (having been a PS user for much longer than a photographer) I also appreciate very much that you encourage people to take better photos in the first place rather than trying to solve problems in PS. That´s the kind of advice I´d expect from a real craftsman! Big up

Great tutorials from you! Thank you very much. You're a natural when it comes to teaching. There's a lot of ppl on youtube knowing a thing or two about Photoshop but the problem with their tutorials is that you just tend to follow along and then you don't know what you did or why you did it. You are the only one I have come across that actually care to explain things in an easy to understand way.

Unmesh, you are a brilliant teacher! You understand that your own mastery of the subject is not enough. You appreciate when students need to understand underlying principles, and when it's fine to go ahead and just do something. You understand the things that students need to hear repeatedly, and have the patience to repeat for us. I could go on, but - as you say - you get the point. Many, many thanks!
