I tried a Impossible Whopper a couple of weeks ago and I liked it. I also thought that the Beyond Burger from BurgerFi was pretty good too.

Always good to see Piz & Jeremy! Sorry to hear you got the raw burger, and their weak reply. But I'm impressed by BK, that Jeremy enjoyed the Impossible Burger. He can be brutally honest with his reviews ("poison")! He sure didn't stop eating. I might have to get one now. Bet you guys are excited for the fall and Halloween. Thanks for the upload Piz.

I had a very similar experience with a McDonald's burger being "under-done". But I was told - "the machine removes human error because it is timed, so the burger has to be done. Perhaps it's the lighting where you are?" It looked like yours and I was also offered a replacement burger with no concern about the fact that they served raw meat.

I wonder if Flip Daddies prepares it different or something because I don't really remember it having that soy taste that I was sort of expecting to be there. I thought it was pretty close but I haven't had meat in close to eight years either so my mind could be playing tricks there.

If you eat raw meat it doesn't mean you will get sick every time, or at all. To me in that picture at least the meat looked pink in the middle, not red.. this is from a monitor though :P.

As someone who works at McDonalds (fml right?) but it's pretty common for grills to malfunction, but it shows very poor management if they continue to use it. Some insight into what they do if you're interested, every morning (at least here in Aus, I imagine its the same everywhere) they check the temp of all meat, eggs etc - anything that obviously can't be served raw or under cooked to ensure everything is cooking to standard. If it isn't they have to cook it again on a different grill to see if it works and I presume make note of whether something wasnt cooking on a particular grill. If its obviously not working, ie meat coming up totally red then they would shut off the grill and use another one until they can get someone in to fix it. So from my own experience, its likely the store managers that are too stingy to pay for the grill to be fixed. Plus when things are being used all day every day, and being operated by a bunch of 14 year olds, stuff is constantly breaking and in need of repair. On a side note, in Australia we have a burger place called Grill'd - not sure if its anywhere else, but their impossible burger is incredibly good. Even my mate, who is a big italian lad that considers himself a food connoisseur thinks its good. It doesn't have the soy taste, which every other one I've tried has, but more of a spice infused bbq sort of taste. It tastes like really lean meat aka not super flavourful, but as you say, accompanied with everything else on the burger it tastes great.

Thanks for the video, please Pizowell contact the USDA about the under cooked burger. This is a huge issue. While it is possible to eat raw or semi raw food without any effects, I've heard of people developing brain damage from improperly cooked beef

Sadly Burger King gives me the poops so I can't eat there. I have IBS but surprisingly Mc Donalds has never bothered me, knock on wood because I love it. I'm with Jeremy, long live Mc Donalds and Strawberry/Banana smoothie!

If the beef was handled properly before it was frozen and after the McDonald's got their hands on it you will not get sick from ground beef. I know I worked in a beef plant for 15 years.

Regardless of the taste, the fact that they are made of soy is not good. Neither is the sunflower oil necessarily. I say this having been a vegetarian for a while around seventeen years ago, so I have eaten plenty of Morningstar Farms meatless chicken patties, buffalo wings, etc. and also Boca Burgers. I also ate quite a few of those Burger King vegetable burgers they had during the mid 2000s, and plenty of Subway Veggie Delite sandwiches.

Uncooked burger story: I had exactly this happen at a Wendys with their spicy chicken sandwich in January. Uncanny.

Do you eat fast food fish at all? I liked Long John's when I could eat there, but I seemed to see more dark meat spots. Then I noticed the same with McDonald's Filet o Fish. The worst was a Filet of Fish I got where almost the entire patty was dark purple and red meat. I threw that one away. I guessed at the time that maybe the US was importing more fish instead of producing it here, but I have no idea.

I go for the chicken planks when I eat at Long John's, which isn't very often. There was a brief period where I liked the McDonald's filet o fish, but I've not had one in a long time.
