I am not on board with Portnoy's personal taste when it comes to bar pizza. He loves tavern/bar pizza. That style of pizza is not for me. It's matzoh cracker thin and usually made with 2nd grade diner/pub ingredients. He loves the way they are crispy and so he rates them high. He called that crust magical, when it was nothing of the sort. Making that type of crust is simple breadmaking. There is very little time and effort used in making that style of crust...and no expert bread-making skills necessary.

I never said that, you must’ve missed the end of video. I want to review L&B soon, I reviewed it a long time ago but deleted the video. I wasn’t as experienced back then and missed some things.

@@Thecarexchangepodcast yeah I liked the sauce better than L&B but not the crust. Factor in the level of importance of ingredients like I mentioned and it’s not scored as high despite the better sauce.
