To be honest the concept of Pizza Tower being the only thing that keeps all of it's madness alive is incedibly unique. The fact that Peppino at the end started to care about all of the people he meet is very touching. He spend a lot of time inside the tower, and build some kind of relations to everyone, and now seeing Peppino care about his enemies is very touching.

For me, this whole comic evokes a strong sense of "if the unused final judgement screen had a back story".

My heart actually broke when I saw fake Peppino, he's already goopy, so seeing how badly he was melting and how he told Peppino to remember him made me want to comfort him in his final moments

Poor Peppino despite succeeding on saving his restaurant he didn’t realize he learned that he lost some peoples lives in the tower.

This is an interesting interpretation of the ending where you don’t get all the treasures. It definitely makes it out to be a bad ending rather than just “You didn’t get everything”.

Damn give Peppino a break. Or the fandom gives him more depression or more pain in the tower.

My heart breaks so much for Vigilante and Faker the most, both don't want to be forgotten, and in Vigil's case, also doesn't want his grandfather's legacy to be gone too. It hits really hard because there are people in RL who genuinely don't have anything left to leave if something like death, took them too soon. God...I really hope Peppino finds those treasures...

They somehow made Pizza Tower genuinely sad without feeling out of character for the game worst part is it's all Pepino's fault, just incredible writing, kinda reminds of Undertale

So basically the theory in this comic here is that the tower was some sort of machine that helped keep the characters who lived in it alive mostly by the John Pillars. But now that Peppino has crumbled the place down on saving his restaurant what was once a place full of hijinx events has now become a pile of rubble of memories. As Fake Peppino said it is time for him and his friends to go.

The fact that there are some theories that Peppino had fought in War and may have a lot of anxiety and trauma from it, mixed in with the fact that he went out of his way to even save his enemies because he couldn't watch anyone die like before, this sure does bring a whole new level of sad and dark.

pizzahead's singing was absolutely haunting but kind of beautiful. great job on the dub and the creator of the comic did a great job

I feel like this works best as a bad ending if you fail to find all of the treasures. I find it a little anti-climatic how there is very little to no consequence for failing to get all of the treasures. You just don't get to see Pillar John revived nor get your file approved by him. I kind of wish the consequences for failing to get all the treasures was a little more serious, that way it would motivate the player to try harder and go for the treasures next time they play. Like in the Sonic games where if you fail to get all of the chaos emeralds, you will see Dr. Robotnik/Eggman taunting you and laughing at you while holding the chaos emeralds in his hands. As if the game and the villain himself are saying "You may have won the game **shows you the emeralds you missed** but did you really? AH! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Try again bucko!!!" And of course a message saying "Try again!" Appears. That is how you immediatly know that you screwed up and you missed something very important during your playthrough. So what do you do? The game said it already. Try again, only this time don't forget the goddamn chaos emeralds this time! Or treasures in Pizza Tower's case. With something very sad and tragic like this happening, it will sure be bound to make players feel obligated to try again and go for the treasures.

That last John was the cornerstone. With him gone, the tower collapsed, with all the survivors rotting away in the ruins. If only there was a way to destroy the tower with the cornerstone alive at the end, but I guess we're all just bumbling in the dark till then

In this timeline, not only does John die permanently, but everyone else does too, even the Pizzahead himself, truly this is the worst ending, honestly if this game wasnt so meme packed then i would imagine this is what the ending would be if you fail to grab the treasures and some of the secrets... It's interesting what's the secret king's fate when the tower crumbles and all the eye secrets disappear.

The fact that Pepper would do one last art piece, as to pass his career of art to the world before he dies is honestly pretty emotional.

The tower was the only thing that kept them alive, peppino didn't realize that until it was too late, now, seeing peppino desperate to fix things without being unable to do it it's...Very sad.... At least Peppino was able to say goodbye to his enemies, or rather, friends, before leaving forever... What a pity...

God I hope that the creator of this comic makes a second part where peppino gets all the treasures as everyone is about to take their final breath and save everyone. Edit: also maybe a ending where peppino and Gustavo have to watch everyone melt away as the replies said, adding onto peppinos war trauma.

I find it strange that The Noise and Noisette are also melting despite meeting Peppino long before the events of Pizza Tower (Probably even before it existed), meaning they wouldn't be connected to the tower at all. 🗿

Thinking of this as some kind of hypothetical bad ending, I have a kind of headcannon in my head that what if he met up with the bosses of the pizza tower again, as if they had been... *reincarnated* or smth, but Despite everything, this comic leaves you with the moral that your enemies are more like friends you haven't made yet.

The parts that really got to me were the vigilantly wanting to keep the legacy of his grandfather alive and Pepperman painting his last painting before he dies …..I literally cried 😢

This could bring up some interesting concepts, since Pizzahead appears to disobey the laws of physics, perhaps Peppino could make a deal with him to bring the Tower back so that he could run through all the levels with Gerome to collect the secret treasures while a deformed and demented Pizzaface chases them, kinda like Snicks Challenge.

The whole context of this comic (confirmed by the creator of this comic too) this is an AU where all the PT characters (not the portagonists) are part of the tower, meaning if the tower falls, they fall too.

Fun fact: This comic is based on a dream that @grappodango, the person who made the comic, had where the characters in the pizza tower were "a part of it" and as soon as Peppino destroyed it, they started melting.
