Getting any rank is acquired by getting enough points in the level. You can get either a D, C, B, A, or S Rank based on your performance at the end. Getting to B isn't too difficult if you're aiming for most of the collectibles in a level, but if you want to hit S rank you will have to pull up some leg work.
To get a P Rank in a level, it is expected that you do the following things within one run of any level:
Kill an enemy before leaving the first room
Get enough points for an S Rank
Find all toppins
Find all secrets
Get the secret treasure
Go through the Lap 2 portal
Never drop your combo once

I haven’t seen it done yet but I don’t know if it’s even possible. The boosters are placed so closely that even with shorthops you’ll land right into one if you’re running

From my many fuck ups at that part, it's BARELY possible. As a matter of fact, it's actually harder if you don't do the secret (i.e. on lap 2), because coming back to the main level de-spawns them, meaning you can run about halfway down the conveyor before having to jump. Then again, I only ever got a P rank when I forced myself to take it slow on lap 2, because the window is so tight, and you're basically bound to hit it if you don't jump ASAP or you gain too much speed.

Ok I've learned more about this. In Eggplant build the hit points of the peppibots were changed to 2, but reverted it back to 1. For a good reason. Playing Peppibot Factory in scoutdigo was something

4:13 I've lost count of how many times these Peppino Bot have screwed me over in my P-Rank attempts... One always managed to catch me from behind, and then fall down the cheese platforms so that I can't hit it back to increase my Combo. After all the other BS this level puts you through, this truly damages the soul, I swear.

Probably the hardest part of the level for me was that one room with slopes and double timer pickups that leads into a pink conveyor room. Feels like they were being really stingy with timer pickups at that point, but I might have just been going too slow. My combo would always run out just before I was able to kill an enemy in the next room down haha

It's always fascinating to see how other people P Rank a level, makes you think of the differences between runs not of your own, and you can't debate which is ultimately better because they both achieve the same goal. I *guess* you could argue over either convenience or high score, but both are decided upon how the player feels comfortable playing the level. For e.g, I kill every enemy in my sight to keep that combo up, no matter how minuscule of a difference it makes. I tend to use a variety of moves to keep the flow going, constantly applying new techniques to see what wacky shit I could pull off, but others seem to use the basic moves as their main set.

To be honest, the main thing I hated was the 3rd secret, I think rest is mostly fine. The 3rd secret during p-ranking though was hell and was the main run killer solely because I had to use the box mechanic efficiently and effectively. It’s kind of janky for me so I lose the combo there the most.

Nah you can theoretically grind infinitely on the santas in R-R-Freezerator allowing you to get extremely high combos

I managed to P-Rank this level before Gnome Forest. Seriously, unlike Oh S**t and Gnome Forest where there's a single room that is so stretched thin that combos basically die, much of my runs died in this level because of the sheer abundance of hazards. Like, they went overboard with the outlets.

Tip for secret 3: press spin and jump simultaneously to launch yourself for just the right velocity to hit the bricks

I just P-ranked this level. JFC, that conveyor belt with the reverse boost pads in the Escape sequence is going to be in my nightmares. It must've ended like 90% of my attempts just because I wanted to go fast. The third secret is also one of the hardest in the game for the same reason, if you rush the last part, you might not be able to reach the Eye to escape and will fall. Luckily you can skip the conveyor belt on Lap 2 thanks to the Pizza Box transformation.

Hahaha, same. P ranking this one was kind of difficult until I got hang of some trickier parts of the level. Golf on the other hand was a pain in the ass . I even got hit by the last golf demon right at the exit at second lap and lost the combo. I was livid.

Peppibot Factory was the last P-Rank that I needed to get in order to unlock the TV Purple Skin. And God, was it MISERABLE. I've seen people say that R-R-Freezerator and Pizzascare are the hardest to P-Rank, and while I can see why, they are absolutely NOTHING to compared to Peppibot Factory (in my opinion). I wish I could personally thank the uploader of this video. Because without this, I would've never been able to get all the P-Ranks. Because, oh boy, it felt GOOD to get that final P-Rank.

Wait did everyone else thinks that the weanie enemy from this level and the burger guy from golf are the unused characters from wieners don't do drugs? I mean the sausage guy is very close and the burger fella is almost the exact same shades and everything. Eh maybe I'm just late to this but its pretty fun that McPig referenced his old unrealesed game with them

I hate this level. It’s impossible to p rank it. Always slip up on getting secret 2, mess up at secret 3, touching a pixel of a plug. I hate this level.

this level wouldve been fine to P rank but it is insanely slow, the third secret is too long and a pain in the ass and the part at 4:05 makes me want to punch a hole in my wall

The first time i completed this level (like 5 mins ago) i somehow managed to collect only 2 toppins, and when i got to the pizza time i said "WHERE THE HECK ARE THE OTHER TOPPINS!?" I rushed all the pizza time looking for the toppins and didnt found anything (got B rank tho) so i looked for a tutorial cuz im lazy lol

someone needs to make a mod that replaces peppibot factory. i do not want to play this level because it isn't fun and anyone who says it is fun has probably gone insane from playing this terrible level
