After several months of being out of business, he lives again! Don't mind him, he just needs to get cleaned up after sleeping for a very long time. This was recorded on 06/04/2016 at Richmond VA's CEC.

CEC Waterbury the mask got replaced along with the shell and the cylinders got lubricated it should be fine now

@@fournerr_ CEC went bankrupt and was bought by showbiz, sometime after that, Concept Unification happened and all show biz pizzas became Chuck E Cheeses.

R.I.P. Looney Bird. At this point I'm fairly certain that all of the Looney Birds in Showbiz Pizzas got remodeled into Pizzacams, cause I've been looking for nearly 8 months and haven't found a single listing for an old Looney Bird animatronic. It's sad to see my fav rockafire character entirely replaced like that, you know? Anyways, yeah, it's really sad that they took a character with so much personality, and turned it into a niche side act that hardly gets use, and has almost no narrative at all. But such is the fate of many 😔

Ahoyhoy there, I think it's sweet that they kept it working in original condition and then restored him when he was completely broken. That's what folks should do with stuff, not make it different, keep it working until a TOTAL breakdown, not just because it looks unappealing, give something new life only when it is all the way broken. Even weathered furniture, where it got rained on Moes the item almost part of the living world. As if our creator designed it using the power of rain. Do what you can to protect old things, but maintain the original look or the form it's taken by nature until it is completely broken, and only then should you repurpose said item.

Fun fact….this pizza cams head when it was removed was transported to the Laurel Md location and stayed there till 2022 when the show was removed and sent to corporate.Richmonds pizza cam head will be used for parts but it was saved from Richmond.

i used have a CEC Studio C Beta about 3 miles from my house, but i would go up to Laurel MD to the 3 stage one occasionally, i never remembered pizza cam. now i'm older and very interested in the RAE, what have i been missing out on?!

You're in luck! Laurel MD does have a Pizzacam. One of the best condition out there (apart from the pieces of latex removed around the eyes.

so sad. I know they're like a blacksmiths anvil, only made to make money. Beat to hell and replaced when worn out. But like a Hay Budden or Peter Wright, they're treasures to some, scrap to others... shame
