They didn't disrespect religion, they just revealed the truth of business in the name of god. From any religion you believe, you needs to question them, why the rituals is important. And minds my words, which was the original ritual, you can find there answered. But which were the rituals created by the powerful people for the restriction on the lower people, there are just to make the powerful people more stronger, from there you didn't get your answer.

It was good that people loved the Shree Ram, and made him a statue and Mandir. But why do the same people stop the poor people from visiting the mandir and statue, just because of business.
