Bullet itselft didnt ricochet, the magnesium glowing part was broke apart.

For future reference, it is possible to put out small fires like that with sustained full auto fire IF AND ONLY IF you use straight ball ammo and shoot at the base of the fire. The impacts will throw dirt up and onto the fire and smother it. We could only get 4&1 for our M-60s back in the day and they'd constantly start small fires out there. We kept an extra gun with about 500 rounds of ball ammo as our fire fighting gear.

I could be wrong but i think tracer rounds have less velocity, hence energy. Which makes them bounce rather than go straight into the water

Not just water, watch videos of flat range shooting and you'll see em skip off the ground too. Bullets do really weird shit sometimes.

@@khanubangash7812 Hmm, bullet speed of 5,45x39 = approx.900m/s, bullet speed of 7,62x39 = approx. 700m/s Do you want to say, that is too slow in comparison to other ammunition, so the bullets of other ammunition are already flown further before the tracer ignites?

That's cool as heck because you can see the are bullets tumble when they hit the water, and they actually bounce off the water and Tumble over towards the rocks but when you see the AK shooting the tracers go directly into the water and straight through the water. That's cool as heck you can see the tumble verse the straight through

Sub machine guns are nuts. That mini uzi is a really limited ammo lead laser. MP9 is my favorite but it’s crazy the heat they can deliver short range.
