Most underrated track ever!

I started listening to Placebo and became a fan when I was 11. Now I'm 37, and there's hardly a day that goes by when I don't listen to them. Each time they pulverize my heart and invest my soul with an unparalleled power. Thank you for being there every step of my way. And to all the beautiful souls who love them, I send you a little of my melancholy as a gift.

The melancholy in these songs is so dense that I feel literally swimming in it no matter what place I'm in ... there's no band like Placebo - I love it

This song and Exit Wounds are the best songs on Loud Like Love in my opinion.

I don't know how, but Brian has a special talent to create sensitive, yet powerful lyrics. Placebo doesn't need high-toned vocals or pumping base-sounds or guitars to create powerful and artistically high-skilled music.

This makes me cry. I connect with this and this story could be me in the beginning, but I came through the other side. I felt like I was on that roof or cliff quite a few times in my life. I used to go out in my own bubble, basking in that moment when one random stranger accepted the real me and showed me a kindness. I used to be sad when I had to compartmentalize myself away again and go back to playing a false role, and feeling like I’d never be me. I started that journey in 1997?(im guessing that’s when I told my first close friends) I look back now and cannot imagine how much it has been that I’ve grown over the year and have become happier after having finally transitioning. I am stable and successful and I am enjoying life. I love when inclusive artists include these themes in their art. Oh man it hits yah in the feelings !!!!

Placebo preserves the freedom that we felt at adolescence, it seems that we've become a grown-up generation that we feared to be

I think people don't realize how unique of a sound they managed to find with their last few albums.

I think it's about parting with a life lived for others, the emotional trauma, the regret, but also the decision to stand by themselves in their decision, despite others not agreeing with the life choices. I think the song is sad yet empowering.

This song broke and mended my heart when my first boyfriend and I driftet apart. It was so hard and took too long. We loved being miserable.

This made me cry. This is my own story. I have had urge for cross dressing since childhood, yet I am completely straight. I have found myself a very special person. Told her about this part of mine. She was trying to accept it for years. I was trying to stop it, we tried compromises where this would only happen few times a year without away from her. Anything was leading to depression, regrets, sadness, paranoia. Eventually after 6 years we gave up. It cost me marriage and child. We were both in love even at the moment of separation, however the pain she was having just by thoughts about me as female were devastating her. Now I live just like this guy. Single. Sad. Lonely. Dressing up from time to time, often mimicking her.

There is so much pain and emotion in this song and video. Such good storytelling.

I came to listen to placebo to help me because of the intense feelings of depression, being lost and trapped. Was listening to meds era songs and then this appears in recommended. Was not prepared to feel so empathetically attached to a song and video. If only people could understand and accept each other, instead of forcing us to hide away. I think the song/video is about a man that wants and need to dress as a girl, but his ex girlfriend couldn't take it and she left him for that, and he's suffering about that loss, and want her to understand how he feels... Honestly, when I look at old placebo interviews, and when I see Brian dressed as a girl, I think I could totally accept that, and even love that. Cause a man who assume his feminine part is beautiful. And I want straight mens who loves dressing as girls to know that there are girls that like this, don't feel bad about yourself, and don't give up, you're beautiful
