Plague - Warhammer 40k FanMade animation. (Anti-COVID special)

The year two thousand and twenty did not start quite easily. It is at these times that COVID-19 is spreading throughout the world and has locked most of us in our homes. And although the humanity has already faced greater difficulties, insecurity and fear are creeping into us. That's why I decided to do a little animation in speed, which hopefully will help a little bit and cheer up some fans of Warhammer universe.
I would like to dedicated this short clip to all brave men and women who face a pandemic and care for others.
I'm an amateur and an enthusiast, I don't make a living from this job.
I'm an amateur 3D modeler and animator. I learn everything by trial and error style.
My great inspiration is the creators of Astartes, Death of Hope and Hellsreach, and although I am far from their quality - I want to follow in their footsteps and gradually improve.

@@KalashVodka175 I doubt an entire chapter. That would be seen as a waste of an Astartes skills. I’m sure the Munitorum hits up Astartes chapters for motivational photo ops every now and then.

Some may say this isn't Astartes qualities. They fail to realize Astartes took over 6 months of a veteran animator to get the first 40 seconds. This here is 4 minutes of the very hard thing that is to animate a fist fight between what's supposed to be a blur in real time, FOR FREE, as a message in these trying times where Nurgle lurks and his 'blessings' terrorize mankind. This is The Emperor's work, for it is selfless and it is good and it is inspiring (It may be a little hard to understand the voice acting but the dialogue is great) and I hope you make more of this and go get Patreoned a lot! The Emperor Protects, Gabriel!

Did you understand the ending of Astartes because I didnt? I'm still new to the Warhammer 40k universe and yesterday I finished watching Space Marine game.

@@bradmorales4002 What happens is that Astartes isn't meant to be understood 100% (or at least I don't think the creator ever meant for it to be). We all have personal interpretations and my personal interpretation is that what happened was that the Sphere was a consient artifact created by some long-gone alien civilization a long time ago. The Rebels dug it up and it filled their heads with all these ideas about the Imperium being opresive and the need to leave it, causing a rebellion. The Inquisition knew of the other Spheres and went and got this one, trying to glimpse at what they were up to in the process. My belief of what happened to the Astartes squad that gets sucked is that they'll be of use to the Spheres for some purpose (most likely a sacrificial one because this is Grimdark Sci-Fi)

As much as i like this video, my only gripe is that this Death guard wasn't fully corrupted by Nurgle's blessings. As in Bloated with festering corruption, tentacles, bones, and bell mouths coming out of his armor. Also, he wouldn't fall that easily as he's supposed to have weapons with him, not go into combat unarmed.

But now I have WIP bigger aniamtion, taht should be finish around summer. With more work of camera, scene composition etd. :)

Fun animation, honestly animation is so hard and this is impressive in its own right. In the shadow of the Astartes animation, it is still glorious to see any animation for Warhammer 40k and this one was still really well done for what it was. Keep it up please! Can never have to much 40k!

Thanks so much for those words. I will definitely not stop with animation, even though I am only self-taught, I really enjoy it. And the warhammer is my "heartbeat" It's still not what I want it to be, but I'm learning from the mistakes and in the upcoming animation for this summer, I hope it will be seen.

It'll be enjoyed too, the Warhammer community always desires more animations to show off are beloved franchise which doesn't get much in the way of Media from our overlords at GW. Not bad at all ;) Though you might want to make the pauldrons on your Space marines a little smaller and give yourself more range of motion to animate their arms, without having to worry about the armor clipping through itself.

With all due respect to the Black Templars but going anywhere near the Death Guard should be an automatic death sentence. In my mind these are things you need to engage at long range if you want to live, and always have flame units at the ready to sterilize contaminated areas.
