My thoughts exactly. The line where "they" stated that they are glad that he doesn't have kids, because he doesn't know what love is, sounded like it was personal knowledge and hurt. Also, a lot of name calling and anger. Again, sounds personal.

It creates a record. If she does commit a crime and she involves him. He can refer to this case. And he would have solid evidence his fears became a reality qjd court fsiled to a t which would gurantee a future tpo if she did implicate him in fraud. She out the home so thing should be fine after that

@@jonnhanzo9529 I understand what you're saying, but a TPO is usually granted because of violence or threats of violence; the petitioner needs to feel extremely unsafe and/or be in fear of the other person, and fraud alone, just doesn't count. If she'd been physically harming him or threatening him with violence to make him keep quiet about fraud, that would be different, and a temporary protection order might have been granted, but as things stand, there are other options he could, and should, have chosen to take, because all he did here was annoy the judge for wasting the courts time and another judge might not have let him off so lightly for doing this, so he's quite lucky, about that.

@@jonnhanzo9529 I realise that my first reply is very long, so if you'd rather not read it all, I'll just say this: the guy tried to get the wrong type of order, he should have tried for a temporary restraining order, not a temporary protection order. His issues don't fit the criteria for a TPO and never will unless she causes him physical harm or threatens him with violence, etc.

Well, she has no say in what cases come to her...she cannot outright refuse to hear the case unless its a conflict of interest..its her job to hear all the cases assigned to her, no matter how ridiculous it appears...she has the option to dismiss the case after hearing it....

From her perspective a lot of people who are unsophisticated with the law come in who might have trouble getting to the things that are actually relevant, but eventually do get there and have a valid basis for a TPO. Yeah it's a lot of time but on the other hand TPOs are intended to prevent likely harm to someone, it's probably worth trying to hear out people who are asking for them even if it initially seems like they won't have a basis.
