Your trip sounds amazing! So glad you head a great time (minus the flight fiasco)! I'm in the US, but don't have any local craft shops any more so have to do most of my shopping online as well for most special items - we have multiple Michaels and JoAnns in my area, but they don't carry as much in store as you hope so I totally get the magic of seeing it in person!

Diesem Monat hast Du Dich selber über troffen wie schön ist das denn Bitte schön!! Die Knöpfe sind Bettwäsche Knöpfe, die worden früher mit Leinen über zogen. Deine Einkäufe sind genial. Aww what a lovely keepsake, even the owl isn't too angry looking😄. Oh what a pain getting there 😱lol my Mr is scared if dolls 😄. Lol yes, PayPal makes things easier sweetie 🤗. Oh good swatch stamp! Oh my goodness, our charity shops are so small I can't even get the wheelchair in 🙈. The horn button reminds me of my Dad, he makes ornate walking sticks and sculpts handle out if things like discarded deer antlers he finds. I'll get a photo next time I'm there. Wow, cool scales 😍 yummy! Oh the foxes on your kit are ADORABLE!!!! What an odd concept for a book lol. Oh now that's a cute owl, so fluffy. Yes, often a project tells us how it wants to be made! The blue/green fabric is gorgeous 😍 I'm hoping to rust dye soon! Yes I need that mat, mine are all grubby now 🙈. I usually use gloss gel for shiny things, it's a great adhesive for awkward surfaces and won't dull the shine if it accidentally gets on top. That envelope is so gorgeous 😍, you could print it on fabric and use as a clutch bag😄. Yum yum! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

Re the mica flakes, you’d probably find little dots/blobs of your Art Glitter Glue would be the perfect medium to stick them down 😊 I actually put matte medium in a bottle with a fine tip (Natasha Foote from NZ has a video that shows how to do that easily) & use that as my all in one glue.

Hallo liebe Barbara! Toll dein Amsterdam-Ausflug👍 - auch wenn die Anreise sehr lange gedauert hat. Aber deine lieben Freundinnen haben geduldig auf dich am Flughafen gewartet.😊 Ich kann mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass es wunderbar ist, mit Journal-Freundinnen "in natura" zusammen zu basteln🥰 Und - schöne Trödelfunde... ich liebe alte Waagen und deine beiden sind super! Diese alten Stoffknöpfe verarbeite ich auch sehr gerne. Als ich sie damals zum entdeckt hatte, wollte ich sie auch erstmal überall draufmachen😅Ich habe sie hier in Köln auf Trödelmärkten gefunden. Echte Schätze🤩 Dein Winterpapier ist zauberhaft und diese niedlichen Füchse🤩, tolle Winterlandschaft😍😍. Nebenbei werkel ich an einem Winterwonderland Journal und brauche unbedingt dieses Papier😁😉. Allerdings in meinem Journal ist alles in frosty türkis & hellblau -weiß. Da müßte ich die Farbeinstellung am Drucker etwas verändern, sonst passt das mit Rosé nicht zusammen🤔. Ich liebe auch deine Planer Journale in denen du immer wieder tolle Ephermera zauberst😍 Ganz liebe Grüße Luna

I feel your pain. We were supposed to be in Amsterdam and our flight was cancelled. We took 25 hours from from Lax to get to Hungry/Budapest on our recent trip to Europe. We were connecting thru Amsterdam but we’re rerouted thru Paris. Long trip,

Absolutely love your gorgeous month of adorable wintry creatures & even though I’m not a pink person, it’s a beautiful colour scheme. Your book count did inspire me to check mine. I’ve read 139 books so far this year plus listened to 49 more on audiobook. And thanks to Kindle’s stats keeping, I know I’m on a 266 week & 366 day streak. Tbh I find it more unusual that I had any days without a book in my hand at some stage. I’m like the little robot from… Short Circuit I think it was… “need input”. Mind you, you have been way way more creatively productive than I have though, so we should not compare. I wish I’d lived more outside my world of books this year. Next year!

Hi Barbara it is called Pick up tool. You can use it to pick up beads, flat back pearls. You can use mica flakes like glitter. Just pick it up with your fingers and then knock off the excess. Loving your new papers. So cute. You should do the fox in another digital. Darning Your little bell is so stinking cute I’d like to know where she got them too.

I love the new kit with my favorite forest animals! You have got me spraying mica on everything these days. Your time in The Netherlands sounds like so much fun. I have been to some flea markets and vintage stores in Amsterdam and always get so annoyed with the weight limits for luggage on international flights!

Love the new kit. I am also happy for you for getting the glass mat to work on. However, many of us suffer from seizures and migraines and cannot watch/focus with this type of background. As much as I LOVE watching your channel, I won’t be able to any longer. I had to stop watching other channels who only use that mat to work on. I know you think the gray mat was dirty, but it was neutral and perfect to watch you craft. Thanks for your creativity. 😊

Gosh that must be tricky to avoid. 😢 Could sunglasses, coloured lenses or a coloured overlay over your device make viewing safely possible? My dad had epilepsy, I was unaware of any triggers, you could just tell over a few days it would build up with confusion, but only every couple of years.

Love the foxes and deer. The owl is adorable. I have adjusted my monthly journal and incorporated some of your ideas into it. I'm still adjusting but so far, I am enjoying the weekly pages and the to-do list being on separate ephemera. I just started that in November so the final evaluation is still out! With the big change from daily to weekly, I keep finding things I want to add or readjust - that's just me being me! Thanks for your inspiration. I don't have a color printer but I may need to give your kits a try. The ani,als are extremely inviting and adorable that they are hard to resist. I may need to see how much follows into the black-and-white mode. TFS. 💖💖💖

Hey Barbara. Amazon calls your tool you used to pick up the mica flakes a " double-ended jewel picker". I have one and use it for beads, jewels or anything tiny. Love the wintery papers.

Great to see you went on a trip so close to the region where I was born (Friesland) and although I moved to the neighbouring province (Groningen) years ago, I also recognized the thriftstore you visited, that is pretty close to where I live now and I've been there several times. 😁 Such a shame it was raining all the time, I feel like it has been raining here sinds the start of October!

Hanging a big tag from the mechanical scale with the hook? Wow, that's fun, pls show us the end result when you have it. I remember my mom used those kinds of scales when i was a child. We'd harvest strawberries from our summer house's plot and she'd weigh a bucket of them before starting making a batch of jam. Nostalgia. :)

I wonder if you could spray those super delicate due cuts with an adhesive spray or some layers of matte/gloss spray varnish to help give them some resilience, then maybe give them a couple of layers of matte medium or even acrylic paint (since that’s basically plastic) 🤔 They are so beautiful, but so difficult to use. I recently bought some lacy die cuts to use as stencils with Distress & Mica sprays, but like you, I didn’t realise how delicate they’d be.

Lovely vacation for you and your "dolly" friends! Too bad one friend couldn't make it. Barbara, if you do not have a running commentary of what you're doing in every video, so just create!! And we'll watch what you're doing. Maybe, for new subscribers, every other video explain shaking the mica spray,😅 contrast, gluing, layering, three points of colour, distressing, etc... free yourself from talking as much, if you feel comfortable with that. I loved your ASMR videos. I still watch the one when you showed us your new journal. Is there a flip through of that fatty?😅 Oh, and small splatters?? I laughed!😊❤
