In Fiji it is called, taro or dalo we eat the root, the stems and the leaves. The leaves are best eaten cooked in coconut milk.

We used to get this food for free when I was young in Ghana. Late 1990 to early 2000 nobody buy or even eat this food in Ghana. Africa has to change the he handles his agricultural and the natures

In Trinidad and Tobago we call this dasheen and add it to soup, make chips, coo-coo, eat it with fish or whatever you desire.

It is not arrowroot. Arrowroot is more similar to turmeric. Arrowroot is used to make starch 😊

The leaves are edible. Look for the market in other countries if they don’t eat it in your country. Also if u can release snails in there....they love that environment and can generate more money for u.

This is actually "Taro root"; "arrowroot" is a different plant. But I guess that's what's its called in East Africa.

That’s taro root also called Arrowroot .Arrowroot is not grown like that . Arrowroot look more like turmeric or white small carrot in shape not colour. This is not the Arrowroot baby cookies are made from . Once arrowroot is planted no one waters it.This I know for a fact .The best feed for our rabbits was grown between the arrowroot plants.
