One thing about motorlock, is that the best thing you can do is just ask for help if you don't understand why something doesn't work. It could take you up to a few hours to realise why it's not working, and you'll just be mad. Getting a second set of eyes to help you will make the process take a lot less time, you won't be as mad, and it will still let you figure out why it didn't work and thus, you've learned more about motorlocking.

Yes, this!!! If you need help with understanding why really anything isnt working for you, ask for a second opinion! It can really help when you can't find the problem yourself.

i have recently started angle locking and im getting good at it! obviously im not doing the mess of motors but im still getting good at basic angle locking thanks to these motor locking guides so i wanted to take the time to thank you for all you have done for the new people in this wonderful game called plane crazy

@@imaniarthur I will when pc2 is released. if u want to improve tho, my best advice is honestly just to build what you want to regardless of whether it succeeds or fails. from there, you can learn what does and what doesnt work, which is essentially how u get better.

If you use trails to make angles to your cockpit, does that mean you won't be needing to use the cockpit window? Because it looks like it fits perfectly, and even if there's no window but it has trails, it still looks like it has a window

Hey Firey I just have a quick question, I noticed that when I made my attack jet’s cockpit openable (with motorlock and stuff), my plane’s control panels just went crazy. I checked one of your guide videos and I tried to fix the issue cuz I thought it was due to the ballast blocks I added (for vtol mode to be stable), but it wasn’t the issue. Do you know how to fix this Firey?

when you talked about the "if one motor from a motorlock is destroyed, the whole motorlock assigned to it will die too" it made me remember when i was experimenting with motorlock to make a jet, i flew throught the propellors of the floating island and just one small block flew out, i thought nothing of it untill i did a barrel roll and the whole section just popped off

Just wanted to let everyone know that adding hover thrusters with maxed drag can help your helicopter hover more stably without anchor.

Hey, another question, im building a folding kc-46, and i tried to set the motors to be powered and lock, and usually, they would fold, but this time, it stays locked. i disconnected it from the other parts and it works fine. Whats the problem here?

It could be that youre using a non-physics anchor block. Non-physics anchor blocks dont allow locked motor to move while they are anchored. To fix this, you can either turn on physics on the anchor block or add another anchor block with physics mode set to a different keybind so that you can toggle between the two when setting up your build.

i need help on something i made, its a type of ww2 german experimental heli ( think its experamental) called the Focke - archgelis Fa 223 drache. my mai problem is haveing it even stay still, if it mostly likes to go upside down and i have to fiddle around with the controols and likes to only turn left. there might be some other problems but i dont remember them all, ill cheack later

im going to be honest ever since i was starting custom angle locking i did not use signs but i figured that out in ur other videos today bc i was watching all three of ur motor lock guide in one go that i could use signs instead of trails -_- i feel stupid

Pls do a video on ground attack in general, such as how to drop bombs precisely, how many to drop, how to aim rockets or do strafe runs. How to set up your attack run, and how to make an attack aircraft. I am thinking of making a guide but I dont really have the tools and time to do it.

then you may have either too many propellers, or the current propellers are producing too much force. try lowering one of the two

Through the use of stuff like ballast tanks, engines, and water propellers you probably could. Would take some time to tweak but I think its possible.

I think u may have skipped or misread a part if u ended up drinking that lmfao. Really these videos are just to guide you, you have to to try. More than that tho you have to be ready to fail, if something doesnt work, try doing it a diff way, or try figuring out what went wrong. You cant just give up after a few tries, keep at it.

I have a question about angle locking, can you use motor 2's?

Not really, as you can't lock motor2s. They might stay put for a while, but it won't be stable and they will eventually force their way out of the other blocks. Locking normal motors doesn't allow this to happen as no external force can move the motor.

i made a helicopter with the double bladed rotor you had in plane crazy ep 1, my blade is longer that the nose, but for some reason it still rocks around. but still, your vids are very informative!

something i don't get is the point of motor locking cuz isn't it just to make things look better? i mean it can also make things work better, i was off plane crazy for almost 2 years and when i come back there is a complete mess on people bases and that mess turns into a plane or something else (i really need to get used to this.....)

Ah, I see, well welcome back. The only real "point" of motor-locking is just to allows for features or designs that are unachievable by normal building. This can include making a build more compact, or making it agile/faster, or just for aestetics.
