oh yeah, to make your "explode key" more secure, you can turn on arm on key, so to make the tank explode you actually have to press it twice.

Here are a few suggestions. 1) You only need 1 layer of explosive blocks inside of a vehicle, filling it entirely in offers extra protection but also makes you lose vital TNT blocks that could be used on other parts of the vehicle or in other functions. TNT is quite limited ingame after all. 2) Use a dual motor configuration. Here is essentially how it works: Cylinder of any type (except 1x1), and make it fabric due to the material being able to stick to the ground well. Add 2 motors behind the cylinder wheel. The first motor right at the wheel should be S,W if on left side from the front of the plot arrow, and W,S if n the right side from the front of the plot arrow. The secondary motors, this time on BOTH sides should have A,D and a generally lower speed than the wheel motors. After THAT, you place the suspension and effectively get a tank chassis without complicated controls as mentioned in the video.

i use motor 2 suspension, i only make them for fun. i do make tanks wth them too. so this actaully helped me with building the tank format and stuff, thanks for the tutorial and the guide bro!

I have a problem with building tanks.I base it off a few tutorials and with some tips but I try to make it realistic by using blocks that can’t fit,using suspension badly,and using motors to move.

I always have a explode button for all the tnt on my tank, when my turret breaks i ram myself into the target and explode. Thus taking him along with me into the afterlife.

My Armata And Tunguska Tank is OP for me my Armata is a driving death has cutters on front to ram 2 seperate motor 2 guns 4 fire works 1 rocket ability to self destruct when turret and cutter is all lost and my tunguska i originally planned the misiles to be 1x1 guided missiles but it never worked so ended up using 11 rockets 4 is motor locked then also has tnt blocks

You can unpower motor lock so you don’t have to deal with setting keys.

You can do use half piston as an armor, because it comes in 2 different pieces: The head and the block with all the mechanism... Soooo when a rocket hits you for example it will remove the head only first then the 2nd shot removes the last piece of the half piston so, it can act as an enchanced armor upgrade...
