Dear friends,
welcome to our new video! This footage from the Moscow area was filmed in 2021. This video does not reflect or supports any political views, or opinion in any form. The footage was recorded in 2021, originally we wanted to upload it in 2022, but we wanted to make sure to stay away from politics. Please be respectful in the comment section and enjoy AVIATION!
We were lucky to be there in time with a major evacuation training, to test the RU Air Forces capabilities of evacuating personnel and planes from an active Air Base.

@@user-qn3xu5ee3t that specific plane was constructed in the late 80's with modernised avionics and defence mechanisms. The 747-200 took it's first flight in 1971 so you're almost correct. The even more impressive plane would be the B-52 or the U-2 that has been in service since the early 1950's

That's surprising: they deployed the thrust reversers on the IL-62M before the aircraft touched down... I flew several times aboard Vietnam Airlines Tu-134A (given by DDR's Interflug, all stencils were in German) in the early 90s, no seat buckles, you had to make a knot...

@@FRAproductions I was a bit skeptic at first but except from the 60s interior (no overhead bins, only racks, missing seat buckles) the airplanes were in good condition from what I could see from the tarmac (very clean landing gears - i.e. no fluids leaks- no worn tyres). The flight crew was extremely efficient and nice (mostly relatives from high rank officials). What surprised me the most was the way the pilots reduced the speed on finale by lifting up the nose abruptly. I guess this was due to the lack of spoilers and airbrakes, only flaps.
