Not as good as Inside, but still not bad, I enjoyed most of it, except for when it introduces some new element but doesn't actually explain it. Or how the time control works. DON'T hold the button. Literally every instinct tells you to hold the time manipulation button. Don't. It's annoying. Otherwise, it was fun.

@@MC-zr7hl Yep. That was precisely my issue, and I was looking ALL OVER for how to get by what I think is the very platform you're likely talking about. It's a tap to turn it on thing, which, again, goes against your instinct and is NOT explained.

@@tyrongkojy yeah because for the time you do have to hold it or at least until it officially changes over from night to day or vice versa, but for the platforms it changes to a tap. Annoying lol beautiful game though and surprisingly fun for how simple the controls are.

It'd be super cool if there was an option to only have environmental and navigation puzzles. the visuals are breathtaking, it'd be nice to go through it being more able to take them in.

Was it that difficult? There were three parts where the enemies were annoying but the rest was sort of easy to navigate and figure out.

@@stevebusam2911 I like your reply. I don't fully understand your comment as the game took me only two hours to complete making it one of the shortest I ever played. I am in a similar boat because I have multiple games and 6 of them I have not even started. Had to stop playing Arc because I did not have the time. Just that out of the over 100 games I own, this one is the shortest and easiest.

I agree, it's not that the enemy/stealth moments are terrible, they just ruin the flow of the game. I'm cruising while looking at the world and then BAM! I'm stopped to maneuver around a robot man. I enjoyed the larger boss style enemies, but not the little guys they were a detriment to the gameplay.

So it seems that the creators of Planet Alpha didn't check to make sure that the game ran smoothly for the Nintendo Switch before they ported it over. SUPER-LAME!

Okay, so in case you're still looking for the answer to this... When you get to this part you'll stop on that first little platform to the left, and then high up in the background you'll see a gold sphere with a purple sphere in front of it (in this video at 8:15). From there you go to the right, where there are two more platforms. You'll also see another gold ball and another purple ball. Of these two side by side platforms, the left platform rotates the purple ball up and down in front of the gold ball, and the right platform rotates the purple ball left and right in front of the gold ball. You just have to use those time manipulation controls (the trigger buttons on a Switch controller), to move the purple ball around until it's directly centered in front of the gold ball. You may have to fiddle with it a bit depending on the perspective from where you're standing, but once you get it lined up the rest of the temple will activate. Good luck!

Might be too late, but you can most of the time after this control time without being on those pads, so be on the moving platform. Also, DON'T hold the time control button for most puzzles. It screws with platform movement. Sounds dumb, and it is, since every instinct says to hold it. You have to turn it to the right time, and let the animation play out.

You position the little blue sphere to be in front of the yellow one. You move the spheres by standing on the patterns on the floor. On Xbox you active them by pressing the triggers but this depends on what device you are using. This comment is a bit late but I hope it helps.

You need to collect all the optional gems in the 4 low-gravity zones. It will activate something at the end for you to see the true ending 😉

Thanks for telling me this. I always thought I missing something. I thought the ending should be some mysterious ancient weapon was actived and all the hostile aliens were killed. Finally the planet was in peace.

I have to say I enjoyed the hell out of this even though the walkthrough saved me 100x!! Beautiful futuristic planetary graphics!!! A steal for 10 bucks!!

@@Clystron426 i looked it up a while ago. Its just a really weird puzzle game. It says your basically supposed to learn the "mysteries" of the planet. But it still doesn't seem to have a set ground motive.
