This. They weren't slick, and it reminds me of the reason I stopped watching their content even before they abandoned their PlanCo content. I'd have a lot more respect for them if they didn't do a PlanCo content lead-up and just waited for the announcement.

I never thought they'd actually add waterparks to a planet coaster game, I thought AT MOST it being a seperate game but I'm so happy they did, will play on day one

The happy sound I made when I saw them attaching scenery pieces to the flat ride was probably only audible by bats, but I can confirm I, too, might've sworn in glee a few times while watching the trailer.

Can confirm! Not only can scenery pieces be added to actual rides but they will actually ANIMATE with the ride! Scenery pieces can also be attached to coasters 😭

Yes and we also gonna get weather, drop tracks on coasters etc. So basically everything we wanted. Nerdchacho just talked about it and shared a q&a. And we also might get real Parking lots and tones of other stuff, like no collision with scenery pieces. So basically, peeps can now walk around the park and avoid going trough scenery. Also: we have three entrys to coasters. Single rider line and so on. AND, YOU CAN FULLY CUSTOMIZE YOUR COASTER TRAINS. You add a scenery piece, for example: a wooden bench and it snaps at the train, automatically gets part of the train and you can so do basically a whole viking theme coaster train or whatever u want. U also dont have to put it on both sides of the train. It duplicates automatically on both sides of the train. Like: u can literally do this with every scenery building. U safe a lot of time while building. U can cross share your creations with console and PC, the whole path System was reworked, its way easier making smooth coaster tracks, the water graphics and shades are improved. New Management System etc. There is so much new stuff. Oh and we also might get mid-games, 9 different waterslides, a Pool guard, new mascotts and even facility stuff, power stations etc

hope Frontier realize how much this game means to a lot of people. Especially people in their 30s… this is more than a game coming from rct series..hearing from numerous ppl this made them emotional and such..i do hope Frontier puts in a lot of effort into it and take a lot of feedbacks from us

The open paths/plazas, look in credible. That's the number one thing I wanted, more open pathing, because it is the number one thing IMO to creating realistic parks, open pathing! I hope its a thing, and not just the screen shot. Can't wait to see what you do. Great channel.

I'm a bit hmmmmmm about the lack of themes being focused specifically on Waterparks when there's still the theme park elements we're gonna want to get our hands on, but I'm absolutely floored it's BOTH games in one! Makes me wonder if there's potential for Planet Zoo Safari-style theme parks in either a Planet Zoo 2 or a Planet Coaster 3 later on, much later on.... That being said, in comparison: Planet Coaster (launch day) themes: Planet Coaster, Western, Pirate, Fairytale, & Sci Fi. Planet Coaster 2 themes announced: Planet Coaster, Sunny Resort, Viking, Mythology, & Deep Sea. I see some parallelism there, but it feels more funnel-vision on the waterparks and I'll be extremely curious to see if we're going to get loads of DLCs like Planet Zoo. They really missed a lovely rhyming miss on King Coaster and Queen Moisture (awkward vibes aside). I do hope we get loads more characters. I feel like there just really needs to be a lot of variety to really open up the creativity levels for everyone in their storytelling. I'm also very very very very very intrigued to see what else is being added or enhanced. This video shocked me and I wasn't expecting it, but taking a step back and analyzing it, the bar is set high as has been the case with PC1 and PZ... now the demands and needs need to be met....

For inspiration, take a look at Europapark's Rulantica water park in Germany. they used a scandinavian viking theme.

I got a message at 3:48AM from my brother with a link to the trailer and when I woke up and saw it I almost didn’t believe it in my half asleep state. Then the fall 2024 reveal oh my god I can’t describe how excited I got, energy went from 0 to 100 when I realized it was real 😂 I can’t even imagine how excited you were when you saw the first snippet confirming the game is real

We did it Sdan! I'm really curious how this game is going to turn out. But I'm nervous though will we have more or less coasters to play with in lieu of having water slides? Will it be a separate game or an add on to Planco 1? I love water parks but I'm always gonna be a coaster nut at heart.

Idk about yall but the fact theyre starting over with themes instead of adding to the existing mix (spooky, worlds fair, etc) is slightly disappointing for launch, im all for new themes being introduced but not having what we already had/ another theme dlc for a theme we had in the past, is my concern right now. Anxious to see if they add switchtracks, the fact its cross playable multiplayer with consoles makes me doubt if we'll ever get a thememakers toolkit 2.0. These have just been my takeaways from analyzing all the breakdown videos so far

Would you do (maybe in a few weeks or months as speculation) what you think or the community thinks will be expansion packs going forward for PC2? Curious now we have water, what you think the possibilities are. Also, not sure if you got this info but are we getting the same artist for the music and updated theme song/new album for this? Probably way too early but man! I love the music throughout both Zoo and Coaster albums. Hope we get You, Me and Gravity 2 or something!

Can confirm I witnessed scaling of scenery objects. I cant confirm if that is implemented in foliage but can confirm they showed us scaling 🙌

So my question is are we at least getting the same amount of new content like the first game? Like for the dry parks? This seemed very waterpark focused which I do understand but I’m just curious. Did like seeing the surf coaster but for the waterpark I didn’t see like a play structure with the big tipping bucket of water. Hopefully they have that

Have not seen buckets yet but can confirm the game will launch with 5 themes! Planet Coaster Theme | Mythilogical | Aquatic | Resort Theme | Rustic Viking Theme so im not sure how much will come with each but im most excited for the Viking Theme which we havent seen yet
