This hotel has all kinds of amenities such as a splash pad, lazy river, mini-golf, trampoline park, and so much more to explore! Yes- we did see a lot of young families, but we noticed more of an older crowd at the Adult Scene side 👍🏻 thanks David!

Hi Andrew, thanks for the great video. A lot of info! I'm now trying to use my marriot points to redeem for the trip in next Feb. Just got confused about "Club Lounge Access" and "Star Class". Wondering if you have any idea about the difference of them?

You can check out their website for what’s included: www.planethollywoodhotels.com/resorts/cancun Basically all food and activities are included other than the trampoline park, arcade, and flow rider.

Hi Again Andrew & Mona - just got back from Vegas ; now planning for Cancun beginning of next year. Sounds interesting but I’m thinking of staying w/ RIU Resorts , as in the Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula in Cancun. As for the food- I find it’s hit or miss in Mexico. At least that’s my experience so far. Where’s your favourite resort in Cancun ? Cheers ! Chef Bari

Yes we liked the Peninsula 👍🏻 we found food in Mexico very it or miss too - especially after the pandemic 🫣 we were always able to find something good to eat at the peninsula, but the quality definitely decreased from the last time we went 🤷🏼‍♀️

There isn’t much of a seaweed problem at this hotel - but yes, it’s very hot

Perfect and very comprehensive video. Thank you! A few questions: 1) is there a charge to eat at the a-la-carte restaurants or are they included?? 2) does the resort charge an environmental fee?? 3) are there many stray cats or dogs on the resort or on the beach 4)lastly, we heard there is a departure tax at the airport....... true or false, to your knowledge.

Thanks for watching! 1) no, they are free! 2) yes, around $15usd for a week 3) no stray cats or dogs! 🙏🏻 4) to our knowledge, no! We didn’t pay anything when we left to come back home 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you for the comprehensive video! Just booked for kids spring break but the general reviews are pretty bad. I have tried to get in touch with hotel from this morning to add my child info but no luck. Made a mistake when booking to miss out my child age info. Do you think they will let me in?

If you upgrade to Star Class, then you can make reservations- otherwise it’s first come first serve.

This was June, 2023 - but this beach is sheltered by Isla Mujeres, so it doesn’t typically get much seaweed at all 👍🏻

PH Cancun is horrible. Watered down drinks. Pools are too warm. Cannot find cold water bottles. Poor service. Below average food. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

@clarencegaultieri8293 we’ve been to a lot of resorts- and although it’s a beautiful place, there are lots of flaws and the resort is not well maintained or run.
