Hi everyone! This was our first day waking up and having a full day at Planet Hollywood. It took a little time to get our bearings so this video will just give a little flavour of what there is available. We spent some time at the pool and ate at a few of the restaurants.
There will be a full "What we ate" video and "Resort tour with tips and tricks" from what we learnt over the two weeks coming. Please subscribe and keep an eye out for those videos if you are looking for more detailed information on the resort.

Wow so many amenities at that resort, looks fun! Watched your live stream, yes whenever we hear of a friend going to Mexico we should tell them about keeping the paper from immigration at entry to leave the country.

I feel like Patrick Swayze in Point Break 😂😂 Jim just HAS to get an 80’s quip into every vlog!! The resort looks flippin’ amazing. Nothing beats that first day walk-around when everything is new and fresh. Can’t beat an omelette station at a breakfast buffet :) Am I to think Jim didn’t actually make it down to the 11am volleyball!? 😂 Looking forward to watching the rest of your holiday adventures xx

Hi Lee, the transfer wasn't that bad and was an hour at tops. The resort it a bit out of the way for excursions etc (although very handy for a trip to Isla Majures) but if you are planning on a manority of resort days I wouldn't say it's a problem 😎

Our daughter bought the biggest inflatable on our recent trip to Tenerife. It was a giant ice cream that she insisted we bring home 😂 the hotel looks really lovely. I love there is so much variety of places to eat

Oh wow Cancun is my favourite all time holiday destination. I’ve been 3 times to Playa Del Carmen. Twice to the same resort. The beaches are incredible and it’s mandatory to see the sun rising on your first day with the jet lag. That omelette looked amazing. I’m really going to enjoy this series. Jimmy has grown up really quickly. A fine young man.

Thanks very much John. We are very proud of him as he is genuinely a lovely little guy. We loved Mexico and would 100% go back again and try another resort. We did a trip to Isla Majures and chichen itza/ Ik kil cenote and I cant wait to edit those days 😍 Have a fab week.

Copy and pasted this from The Internet:- The rainy season in Mexico runs from late August to November. It's rare to get a full day of rain however, as most showers only last for a few hours. Although rare, there is a risk of hurricanes or tropical storms between June and November, which have the potential to provide a full day of heavy rain.

@@TheDespicableThree actually I forgot to ask about WIFI. How is the wifi? And is it only available in the rooms? Or around the resort? And does it cost any money to get it ? And also are there In room safes ?

The WiFi was incredible throughout the resort and we could even connect down on the beach. The rooms have safe's and they are a good size too (bigger than the ones we are used to when we go to Orlando) 👍

We did a live and covered some stuff off. We paid £4.1k for our two weeks. We will have a full resort tour/ hints and tips up in a few weeks 👍👍👍

I absolutely love your videos. You and Jim are epic. Me and the misses are going soon. We've watching so many KZfaq videos about PH and yours are the best. So informative and filled with useful information. I've got a few questions but I appreciate that your holiday was a while ago, so no worries if you don't have the answers. Did you take USD or Pesos? Did you struggle to get a sun lounger? Did you wait a long time for breakfast buffet? Did you wear swim shorts during the day? Do they have the same drinks all over the resort?

Thanks ever so much. We took a mixture of peso & USD and both were widely accepted and appreciated by the staff. There are loads of sunbeds plus the beach so we never had an issue. If you want one of the free cabanas you will need to be up early. We never waited long for the breakfast buffet but we are fairly early risers naturally. We spent our days in swimwear and the drinks were fairly consistent everywhere from memory. Have a great time & I hope this helps 😎👍

This looks great guys, im so jealous as we were looking at this resort for start of June and by the time we agreed to go it had sold out for the date we wanted😮‍💨. We ended up going to the Dreams Jade hotel which was very nice but doesnt look as good as here.😄

Thanks Richard. Lkle your style 👌😂 In all seriousness, we didn't regret not upgrading to Star Class and didn't feel like we missed out on anything. I think the best perk is that you can make dinner reservations but we tend to eat early and never really had to wait to get a table 👍

Tipping question... so say when you got ice creams then Jimmy went back to get something different did you tip both times or just the 1st time. Be best to get drinks/snacks in rounds maybe

That's all included 😊 You can order lobster tail etc in the main restaraunts for an upcharge but that's about it.

Hi Trevor and thanks ever so much. We tipped housekeeping and the person that re stocked the mini bar each day. We did tip at the restaurants and at the pool. It's entirely discretionary - some times we would do a couple of dollars every other drink or 10 if we knew we would be by the pool for a long period. The staff work really hard and are appreciative. It's very much a tipping culture like the USA.

Hi Katie. Yes, all the restaraunts are included on the family side. There are a couple of adult only / star class restaraunts just for those guests.

We walked through 26 daily. Brilliant location - close to the main buffet (some days we got a takeaway box and took breakfast up to our room) and close to Fuel coffee shop. It's nice and quiet at night too and overlooking the golf course. You will have a great Ocean view up on the 5th floor too. Would love to hear your thoughts after you've been ❤️

Hi Kerry and thank you. We booked it as a package with TUI but we could never get the room selector to work on the website. I have contact details for room selecting which you are welcome to if you want to drop me an email. Personally, I don’t think the swim up rooms would have been for us and I'd worry about damp with the ground floor. I don't know if you have seen our Abu Dhabi videos but the WB Hotel is the best place we have ever stayed and couldn't recommend it enough ❤️

Personally, I would book a standard room if they want £900 and then try to organise with the Hotel. We had an amazing view from our room (27501) and I've checked the emails and we paid $70 (USD)

It was an all inclusive. They do have some things that are an upcharge (flo rider etc). We felt perfectly safe at all times 😊

We took pizzas to the beach and had burgers at the poolside too. We weren't sure at first but you can. Just no glassware obviously.

Hi, it is at your discretion and the better the service the bigger the tip. For a table service evening meal we tended to tip 10usd and a couple of dollars per round of drinks by the pool as examples.

Hi Tim, yes - we booked with Tui and were given the immigration form on the plane so we had it all filled out before we landed (top and bottom sections). Be sure to keep hold of the section that you get to keep for your return flight 👍

Brilliant let’s hope it can be saved 🙏 and work on getting more flights to secure its future , I think it dosent help the flights seem to come up more expensive to fly locally . It has so much potential, the crazy thing was we were just gonna book for next year to Majorca & get a quote for Mexico 🇲🇽 too . Would you go back to Mexico ? .I had to work so didn’t go into travel agents it’s funny how things happen almost telling us to hang on 🤦🏼‍♀️. I have emailed The mayor of South Yorkshire 😂 💪. Xx

Totally agree. It has all the potential in the world if only they utilised it properly. We would 100% go back to Mexico. We had a fantastic time and came back feeling so refreshed. We still prefer the hustle and bustle of an Orlando holiday but Jimmy is all about the pool and chill now 😎😂 It did make a lovely change though
