Trailer was the most epic part of this movie’s release. I remember seeing this trailer and thinking that I was gonna watch a darker and epic planet of the apes film. Especially with the, “kill them all.” Line at the end of the trailer.

Love These Old Classic Trailers ,, Love a Good 90's to 2010's Trailers They were so Much Better & Got us so Excited & Gave Little to nothing Away Around the Plot Even more So Twists or Surprises in sequels Perfect Example is Godzilla from 1998,, JP was Huge in 1993 & The Lost World In 1997 But Watching The Lost World Jurassic Park in the Movies They Played a Trailer for Godzilla .. It was talking about the T-Rex Been the Biggest Predator the world Has ever seen & It was in a Museum .. Only For Godzilla to Stomp on it mid sentence & the T-Rex was only up to Godzilla's Ankle .. The Whole Cinema was Going Crazy Loads of Examples , Of Amazing Trailers That got you So Excited ,, From T2 Judgement Day To Jurassic Park , Twister , Titanic Even Small Budget Movies Like The Blair Witch that sold it as Real the hype was insane & After The Craft Dropped in 1995 & Buffy Came from it & Sabrina the Teenage Witch .. Trailers & Movies & There Soundtracks Used To Have so Much Meaning . Like Clueless or Scream Even the Whatssss Upppp From Scary Movie Lol.. Trailers don't have the Same Punch as they used to ... They Even Often Show the First 10 MIN's Of the Movie *If I Heard A Movie is Good* I Now Make sure & Not Watch the Trailer & Go In Blind

I really don't understand why so many people didn't like this movie much. I mean, it's not exactly original but if they are just judging by the climax of the film, I'd say we really need to evolve more before we start thinking primarily simply by what we see.

I’m not judging by the climax. I’ve genuinely never finished this movie, beacuse I’ve fallen asleep on four separate occasions attempting to comprehend what was happening on screen. Really cool makeup though. And ape Paul Giamotti is the best thing in cinema.

The movie was flat. The effects were great for its time but story wise and acting were terrible. Sometimes a bad movie is just a bad movie.
