In my honest opinion War is the best film in the trilogy right next to Dawn Don’t get me wrong Dawn is in my top 10 fav movies of all time, but War has the better emotional story where you just feel the pain that Caesar goes through. It definitely is my top pick, can’t wait to see kingdom soon

I am "meh" about RISE, WAR, and the new KINGDOM, but by God I cannot agree with you more about DAWN. One of the best movies ever made, and easily my most favorite of all POTA saga combined. I may even rank it higher than the original POTA. Koba is such a complex character, and the writers did an excellent job to make the connection between the character and the audience, only for that connection to fade when Koba shows his "true" colors. However, even in his death, after all that he has committed, one as the audience will still say "well, he was like that with a reason".
