Rocket’s story arch was my favorite by far. He was the arrogant leader of the rescue apes but fell in line once he realized he wasn’t alpha. In the second movie it’s clear he’s one of Caesar’s closest friends and advisors. Ends up losing his son but stays loyal through it. In the third movie he’s one of the key apes to everyone’s survival and survives to the very end. I was way too happy for him when he survived the entire ordeal lol

Great breakdown. I especially liked all the connections to the original films you pointed out. One that I possibly missed was pointing out how "bright eyes" is a reference to what Zira was calling Taylor before finding out his real name. Did I miss it in your breakdown, or did you? Great trilogy. In rewatching it recently, I found it interesting that Carver happened to be like the only person who knew how to make the water tower work as a former water technician. Also, idk why they did it this way, but it looks like Cesar on the Poster for Dawn with a gun when it's more fitting that it would be Koba in that postition
