@@Matas04 they're not lazy when it comes to guest appearances. It's more about that they don't want to waste recourses for the guests but rather use it for the detailed animals & objects to build, since these are the main focus of the game :)

you wanna know why they didnt do it? because all this content of this dlc was probably ripped out of the final game to sell seperately. if they would want to give them jackets the would have them, but they decided to not put effort or work into this and just sell what they have

Wrong end of the world my friend, all these animals are from the northern hemisphere. Penguins are from the southern hemisphere. They might be in a later aquatic pack or they might do a whole south pole DLC next winter.

@Blade Vizor The term Arctic means the animals from the Arctic though not the Antarctic. Very similar, yea, but not the same place so I wouldn't expect them to add in Penguins in an "Arctic" DLC. That wouldn't make sense.

Frontier is deleting comments of people calling this DLC the blatant cash-grab that it is. Hundreds of comments were deleted when this was announced, only leaving behind the positive ones. Frontier thinks they can get away with scummy censorship and monetization scemes. They are the same models. There is no new animation. They are re-skins. Do not buy this game

The last one might be the most expensive,it is and extinct animals pack where you could have a research lab where you can hire scientist and go on exhibitions around the world to get fossils and ressurect them,you could research the exhibitions to show the exact specific continents and ares where you can find the fossil you need

This Looks GREAT! very slowly we're turning "Hemisphere Zoo" into "Planet Zoo".... although we're still kindof stuck in the Northern Hemisphere... I REALLY wish there was a Norse pack in Planet Coaster. Feeling very screwed over without some of the pieces that exist and will soon to exist in Planet Zoo vs. Planet Coaster.... Frontier, you should fix that, please! ;) But overall, this pack seems incredible and perfect for the season!

Add another pack where you could have aquariums with many aquatic and/or swimming animals with creatures from all oceans and ones from the deep,there could also be tide pools where you can have people touch animals and have small creatures like sea stars and amphibians,there can also be dolphin shows,and if you have the bird pack you could get aquatic sea birds or diving birds

We dont really have many small preditors / scavangers outside of the reptiles. I hope we get smaller animals in later updates like foxes and smaller wild cats like the ocelot or the african wild cat.

Yeah, I noticed that they don't add many animals when releasing packs. For instance (I know its not technically a pack, but for paying quite a bit more it shocked me), I paid for the deluxe edition and was shocked that it only came with like 3 more animals just like here pretty much.

Yesterday, I learned that the Largest Polar Bear ever recorded was 11'1 feet tall and weighed 2,210 lbs with a 20% (432lb) body fat percentage. Love the music, reminds me of the How to Train Your Dragon 1 and 2 soundtracks! (We don’t talk about 3.) and also the Scandinavian buildings. My favourite thing so far is the new career levels, updates to pack behaviour, and other tweaks. Is there also going to be a family tree feature added? I thought you (Frontier) mentioned that but it was never brought up again. (Maybe I just read too fast and missed it?)

The muskox, Arctic fox, Moose, and Canadian Lynx would have all fit in very well in this pack, I don't know why frontier didn't include them.

@@JDthegamer209 It could be a cost thing, i am sure it is not cheap to animate each animal given their complexities. But i agree with all of those, just wish there had been another big cat introduced, perhaps the mountain Lion/Cougar if not the Canadian Lynx.

I love planet zoo so much i have some ideas for new packs you NEED to add Firstly please add a pack where you get many flying birds from around the world,you could have aviaries,bird trainers,bird shows

I’m not against paid DLC, but this coming out a month after launch when there was an “arctic” filter in the game at release makes me feel like you pulled this material at launch just for more money. Really leaves a bad taste in my mouth for a game I have loved spending a lot of hours in.

The Arctic filter is for the Biome, which is called the Arctic and has been there since launch. There is a DLC toggle now in the game for Arctic Pack items. Two different things.

Bo Marit And unless I’m mistaken, nothing was in it. Just because they created a new “DLC” filter doesn’t mean these wouldn’t have all been ready for launch to put under the arctic filter. Not saying everything in this DLC was ready at launch, but this coming out one month after release doesn’t sit right to me. I just have a feeling some of this was ready at release and they pulled it to be include in a DLC shortly later for more money.

Wolverines, Arctic Fox, puffins, moose, Arctic hare, stoats, sea otters, seals, walrus, Canadian Lynx etc. are missing from the so called "Arctic Pack"... Maybe the more aquatic creatures aren't ready yet, but the others were a missed opportunity!

While I love what I see, it does feel greedy and a slap in the face of the face that they release an expansion so close to their release date, and charges quite a lot for it. To me this should have been a part of the base game at release.

NickVonDuke I’m sure if they shared with you how much capital they have invested into developing this game, it would make the price seem more appropriate. This project is well beyond the scope of what most developers are offering, especially on PC. Their price for the base game is more than reasonable, so if these extra features are things you actually want and care about, the price is fair.

@@jacobbullock2070 It doesn't matter if they spend 1 dollar or 1 billion dollars on it, it's still full prized game that comes out with DLC a month after release that costs 10 euros. Lots of games costs a lot to make, but no all of them cuts off content to sell it to you later for extra profit.

It's quite sad that the majority of todays games are not about the games anymore but about profit maximization. They could have also pu these 4 animals in the base game. But now I'm quite sure they will go the same way as EA where you pay around 300€ to get the complete game with all dlcs. Miss the old times of zoo tycoon. In some ways that game was way better, f. E. Building was way easier. I'm so dissappointed by the developers, even more since I heard they are deleting comments...

Also id love to see aquatic creatures dlc, and with shows. Seal lion shows. Penguins. Rock hopper penguin. Manta rays. Orca. And for the mini habitats make your own fish tanks, wth sea horses, clown fish. And for the big tanks you make. Have sharks etc. Look at zoo tycoon 2 marine maina (hope i have spelt that right)
