@@megakoopa-pokemonandmore6152 dude, count yourself lucky Frontier gave PZ continued support after the first 2 years. The JWE2 community aren’t getting that (nor did we get it for JWE1) and PZ dlc packs get WAYY more content than we do in our packs.

I don't think it's helpful that frontier have named the two packs the same pack ... The "deluxe" pack is not meant to be equivalent across console and pc. The deluxe pack was the base game + extras The deluxe pack for console will be the base game + extras .. But they don't have to be exactly the same extras, because it's not meant to be equivalent

The financial report a week or two ago confirmed one more paid DLC before the end of Fiscal Year 24. The fiscal year ends in May so we can expect the last DLC in March to align with the release of the console edition.

They will only be available on pre-order, if you don’t pre-order them, then they are gone forever.

There will be the same amount of dlc on console and pc in march 2025. There’s 18 dlc for PC planet zoo, but console says it’s only going to get 14 dlc added. thats because one of the PC dlc is the music pack which doesn’t add to the game at all so obviously that’s not on console, another one is the deluxe pack which had 3 animals and some wallpapers and stuff, instead on console edition the 3 deluxe animals will be a pre order bonus, then the deluxe edition for console will have the south east animals pack and the wetland pack which means console planet zoo will eventually have all the animals. If you pre order the deluxe edition on console you will have 3 dlc packs at the start, then 14 coming in updates equals 17. The only dlc is the music pack which is a different app on PC and isn’t in the actual game 👍

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 could barely run Jurassic World Evolution 2, and they had to nerf those versions badly in order to get them to run by limiting the amount of Dinosaurs you could have in a park, and also limiting what building set you could have, when all other version let you use all of them at the same time. Planet Zoo would struggle so much worse, making it current gen only is the only way this could work, and even then it'll probably still be somewhat compromised compared to the PC version.

You won’t like this statement, but, all gaming studios putting out new games need to leave any consoles that are not next gen, behind. Your hardware isn’t capable of these new complex games and including your older consoles, puts limitations on our next gen consoles that could easily handle it.

You made it clear you don’t do consoles, but you got very enthusiastic about PlayStation and was always short about Xbox. Like you felt obligated to mention Xbox but did it as quickly as you could or was like “Xbox…yea idk”. If you call yourself an entertainment channel, and speak on behalf on gaming platforms, then you should be equally knowledgeable on all of them and equally enthusiastic towards all users.

@@megakoopa-pokemonandmore6152 honestly, when the game came out, I remember saying to myself "yeah, this is nice, but it's missing penguins, kangaroos and meerkats. After those make it in, it'll be complete". Then they came in. And since then, even if I've been fairly vocal about the lack of birds, I feel like the game was pretty much finished. With 16 DLCs and 3 anniversary updates, we're at 180 animals, which is CONSIDERABLY more than any other zoo game before, at least with this level of detail. I feel like since the Europe pack showed up, the community has been complaining with their mouths full. Frontier has done a great job so far, and especially now, with the all the layoffs, we can't really be too hard on the staff that did remain. Cherish what you have, cause 10 year old me would have flipped at the idea of a zoo game with bats.

this is an amazing decision for them. An entire new fanbase to tap into, more revenue for them and more traffic and attention to their studio. Just what they need with their current slump and financial struggles. Just because it comes out on console doesn't mean there are no more DLCs for PC. Your anger is very misplaced.
