As far as I could tell, planet coaster’s last dlc came out like a year and a half before console edition was launched. I definitely think we’re getting planet zoo console in the next few months, I’m just pointing out that the life cycles of the two games don’t line up perfectly, so they could keep supporting planet zoo after console. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t however. With one new game a year for the next three years I feel like they won’t have the resources to keep planet zoo going.

Yeah, especially when I want more animals in Planet Zoo for more DLCS. I have a few DLC ideas for that game like the India Animal Pack, East Africa Animal Pack, Amazon Animal Pack, Congo Animal Pack and Antarctic Animal Pack.

That report Frontier released last week mentioned the console release and a paid DLC for in Planet Zoo for Fiscal Year 24, which we're still currently in still and ends in May. In other words, the console release is probably going to be in March or April to align with Easter. The last DLC I think could release during the same rough time frame with the console release acting as the final major update even if the DLC itself isn't immediately available. As for JWE2, the wording of the report makes it ambiguous if support is ending in FY24 or not but I'm leaning towards the idea that it will be. Baby dinosaurs/breeding are the only feature of the films I could think of that's currently impossible in the game without mods, otherwise there could also be an emphasis on Paleozoic and Cenozoic animals like how JWE2 emphasized pterosaurs and marine animals. Dunkleosteus in the marine pack last year might have been an experiment with a unique Paleozoic animal like Pteranodon for pterosaurs at the end of the first game's development. Smilodon, meanwhile, would be an obvious candidate for the third game given its canon status in Camp Cretaceous. If the next DLC doesn't have Microceratus, however, I think support for JWE2 will continue since it's the last movie canon dinosaur left to complete the roster. Return to Jurassic Park, the final DLC of the first game, added Compsognathus since at the time it was the last remaining film canon dinosaur.

Based off what Planet Coaster is like on Console you are in a better position playing it on PC rather than on console its just a must better experience....

I did the same thing a couple years ago… but trust me it’s a lot better on your PC, even tho I’ll still probably get it on console😂if I ever gotta travel back home for an extended amount of time bringing my Xbox sounds easier than my PC!

Playing planet zoo on pc is way better than playing it on console,you have the steam workshop,and mods,and you can place way more items on pc and have way more animals.

I haven't seen anything to indicate that they're done. The video directed at their investors directly mentioned how profitable the DLCs are and implied they're making more.

Planet zoo should make single Animals instead of packs. Every week release 10 Animals at X price and let people choose what animals they want to buy.

Honestly, the only reason id be happy with them finalizing PZ and hopefully have a PZ2, is bc then PZ will be stable enough to keep mods and not be as worried about them breaking the game. It just became too much to keep up with game updates and then having to update the mods and which mods were updated and to what version.

I'm going to be disappointed if there still wouldn't be any news about PC2. I know that if PC2 will release this year it will probably be in November, but they might plan a early acces like they did with the first game. In that case early acces could be released this summer and this wouldn't be too soon to announce. I bet they also wanna show their investors that things will get better fast because things are not looking good at the moment. Planet Zoo console will do that too, so I'm sure that one will be announced this Wednesday.

As I've said in another video, lets hope that if its truly the last dlc, then let's hope its the biggest, most fleshed out, and even most ambitious pack in the game's history. One with perhaps as many as 20 or more animals that both the devs and community have wanted since the beginning. I'll try to be realistic, but I do believe that we might get more flying animals and even a couple or more fully aquatic animals. Plus one extinct animal (probably the dodo)

I'm willing to bet that this is either PlanCo 2 or Planet Zoo Console. Of the two, I'd definitely rather see PlanCo 2 just because I'm a coaster enthusiast who doesn't play Planet Zoo much anymore. However, Planet Zoo Console is still very cool.

Hear me out Planet Zoo 2. Finally has aquarium and aviary. Franchise mode has a ranking that uses money so everyone would compete for the best zoo and also you cannot change the speed of the game obviously. I would also don't mind if they just do Planet Aquarium.

Xbox Player here: It was announced and you are definitely wrong; It looks incredible. By the way, they said they aren’t done with the PC version just yet if PC support ending is why you’re against it.
