Then go to Santo Domingo, Santiago, LA Romana, etc. Sosúa doesn't represent the whole country of the Dominican Republic. The "working girls" are the minority of the women in the DR, and most of them are in tourist sites in Sosúa or Punta Cana. Just avoid those spots, and you'll find what you're looking for.
