We run to wage war and in all other ways choose ecocide over survivability. How peculiar our species can be. This discussion and others demonstrate that we do have the capacity to be otherwise. I think that we still could become sustainable if our situation were commonly well understood. An immersive media campaign would be a great benefit. A responsible media would everyday be presenting content like this and from numerous other excellent selections that can be found on KZfaq in widely read printed media and to those habituated to passive viewing of television. Without consent and the will to act sufficiently and appropriately, we will fail.

I want to believe that we can still reverse the effects of destruction but we have broken several milestones 😭😭😭and according to the scientists this is irreversible 😭😭😭

Way too late people, we may as well relax and do what makes us happy. Nature will fix everything after we are gone, and in a million years everything will be back to normal.

The time for getting serious has long passed. But sure let's start getting serious NOW! Except of course we won't. It's not in humanity (at scale).

We need to do what we can .maybe there will be a few places on earth able to host humans and wildlife . Without to much risk of crazy weather systems destroying habitable areas Russa is the best place for supporting life on a warmer planet So some analysis say maybe north Canada would be able to substain life. The worlds population would need in the thousands though.. Right now without global warming or climate change we need 8 earths to come close to suporting all the humans . Without cheap energy like oil and gas my numbers could be off a tad but not much
