Holy shit, this is a kids show teaching people something that is actually true! My life is now complete.

The timing of this was perfect around the time I coincidentally saw this episode I was constantly in agony thinking what's the point of a temporary existence, the meaning of life, the inescapable silent abyss we are all guaranteed to meet one day. Then this episode came on and I thought this song was a little intense for a kids show. But afterwards I meditated on it for a while I was like "You know what? F it. Who cares? Live life and whatever will be will be." I'm grateful to this episode in its entirety but especially this song.

I think there is some irony here that the planets are even bothering to answer a being that is so “below” then And Gumball winds up being right about them singing til the death of the sun So the planets kind of proved themselves wrong, your life DOES matter, your problems DO count, no matter how much bigger everything is around you

However it was the third smallest and was the second closest to the sun and the color accuracy here is very unreliable so it still is Venus.) Mars: The red one a bit bigger than Mercury and smaller than Venus. Jupiter: The giant rainbow colored planet Saturn: The one with giant visible rings (Duh) Uranus: The yellow one that's being an ass/anus with his smug solo part of the song. Neptune: The blueish purple one that has explicitly been called Neptune in the song. They pretty much got the size order of the planets correct. The colors, however, are very inaccurate.

I know that a lot of people give this song a depressing connotation, but applying what this song says in my life actually made me happier than ever. It might have to do with my neurodivergence (diagnosed by a professional) but by stopping caring so much about life and just focusing on doing stuff that makes me happy with what i have i started feeling better about myself and pretty much everything. I like to say that we as people are sweating and tryharding too much at life, and it's understandable considering the system we're in encourages precisely that in a very cruel way many times, but being aware that nothing of that matters despite what we're told and that we should just focus on doing what makes us feel good (hopefully without hurting anyone in the process) makes it a lot more bearable TLDR: stop giving a f-
