Have been looking forward to this project for as long as you have been looking forward to building it, that looks like lovely timber. If as much passion and research goes into this project as your roofing project you will end up with a lovely workshop - very jealous

That's a pretty quick schedule you've got there. I'm currently working on my own workshop, which I hope to have watertight before the end of summer. I've just finished digging trenches for the foundation, next step is setting up formwork for concrete.

I dont know how you find the time Tim with 3 children. We had our first child this time last yr and my productivity ground to a halt took me months to renovate our bathroom whilst working full time and finished the odd bit here and there like fitting a door handle and finishing off other bits through the house. Fair play to you . Look forward to watching this series.

Conspiracy Theory - The woman and children in Tims videos are actually paid actors to make the DIY videos more genuine. /s I have agree I think he should do a video of how he manages to organise his time. So I can finally finish off the ever increasing list of jobs round my house.

Probably a bit late to be of any use now, but it's really worth putting your trestles 1/3 in from each end of the timbers - means that you can do all the handling (rolling, moving from side to side) from one end due to the magic of leverage! When you know you know etc.

Looking forward to watching this project develop. I’ve always thought those old concrete sectional garages would made good walls for a workshop. Quick to build and less maintenance and longer lifespan then timber. I’m sure this will be great, and look a lot nicer than my suggestion!
