He submitted a FAKE NYCPD letter to the court on the last day of the trial. The cabby said there was no chase. The police issued a written statement at the time say, after they investigated, there was no need to pursue the case. He needs to be charged with making a false police report and charged for the police time involved.

He does. The issue he has is that ARMED security in illegal in the UK except for that provided by the Met police. In the US, he has armed security but in the UK he walked away from his position so lost it. He can't pay for armed security in the UK because the police are not for private hire.

Mary Poppins came out when I was 6 years old. It was the first film I saw in a theater. I loved that movie, and I can assure you, the word Hottentots flew over my head completely, and I honestly hadn't heard it again until yesterday. And it's not even an offensive term here in southern Africa! It's becoming outdated but it's still very much part of the lingo. The preference nowadays is to refer to the tribes (who were collectively called the Hottentots) more specifically, i.e the KhoiKhoi and San tribes. The term Khoisan is also used instead of Hottentot, for the sake of political correctness, I guess. Still, the word Hottentot, historically, was not a derogatory term but I suppose leftwing agitators would find some reason to label it 'offensive' in these times.

It certainly is NOT an offensive word in South Africa. Even though the word is in recent times supplanted by the more specific terms "KhoiKhoi" (or, the Khoi tribes) and "San" who together were referenced as "the Hottentots", the word is still used regularly and without any offence meant. Ask any person who, like myself, lives in southern Africa. This is a classic case of digging for reasons to smear classic forms of entertainment. They've done it to 'Gone with the Wind' and I'm sure 'The Wizard of Oz' is next as a target for cancellation (or PG ratings at the least), since the word Hottentot also features in there. The world is becoming more absurd and moronic by the day. Sorry to ruin it for you but 'Hottentot' really isn't a cuss word! (Unless one prefers to believe that misleading political narrative, of course.)

Harry is highly unlikely to be given leave to appeal… and even if he is, the likelihood of an appeal being successful is close to zero…. Which you journalists would know, if you had bothered to do a modicum of research.

The name Hottentot is not Victorian at all it comes from the Dutch and was used way back in the sixteen hundreds. It is not considered particularly racist as there is a range of mountains east of Cape Town called the Hottentots-Holland Mountains. There is a Hottentots-Holland High School and a Hottentots-Holland Nature Reserve. If it was considered so racist these names would have been changed. There is however a particularly racist term which derives from the word Hottentot, namely “Hotnot” which was used by Afrikaners to describe black people particularly members of the coloured community. It has similar connotations to the N word and the K word.
