please dont blame the hard working NHS staff for all the problems -- blame the untold thousands of managers who have just been promoted from the ranks and dont have a clue what they are doing. There is a whole layer of management that could be removed and no-one would notice. We need more frontline staff and less management

The government does not rule the NHS but the top management does. Junior doctors bark at the wrong tree. Health care system is and always will be the black hole for money .

D'you know, I for one am sick to the back teeth of all this NHS bashing... do these people realise its the 'boots on the ground' that are hanging on by the skin of they're teeth ie the Nurses, Auxiliaries & others in the lower ranks - it's the management who ARE the problem - the NHS has no problem recruiting staff, it's keeping those staff that's the problem.. the constant nitpicking by a white collar worker is totally demoralising. Also why after years of Uni etc are Nurses having to 'deep clean' wards - I thought that was why cleaners were employed - silly me!! Put a stop to the 'Agency staff' rip off & have a huge cull of management & middle management along with the assistant's & they're 'assistant's. Ask the damn Nurses how things need to be run & LISTEN TO THEM..

I watched Armageddon today and after a tough week of work it was exactly as required. Really funny and making light of the bad stuff in life is what gets you through. He even takes a minute at the end of the show to address this and often throughout the show. People need to lighten up a bit. One day we'll all be dead.

No picket lines at all outside our local hospital. Think when they did stand waving flags at the traffic,support was not forthcoming. I worked for 20 years in various hospital labs and am disgusted with the lot of them

Not happy with the way our NHS has gone... Too many admin people, too many temp nurses and not enough happening to make sure our homegrown get trained. I have to go to hospital occasionally, and want to talk to someone that speaks english, that I can understand.

I have a granddaughter and a niece who work in NHS neither have ever thought to strike, one is a matron in midwifery and and one is a mental health nurse, they both say these doctors who strike just go private to get more money even though they get about 58 thousands a yr

@@katryna192 We know it's not all but sadly, too many are now just being paid too much money and the lists for being seen are getting longer. The NHS is now seen as easy money for a lot of staff with few patients being seen and a growing list of people that should have been dealt with years ago. I have lost a couple of people that were semi sorted with their cancer... So many appointments, delayed/cancelled they are now pushing up the daisies. The NHS is on its knees because of the amount of greedy admin, Doctors and Nurses!

Two Nurses in my family told them where to shove them... both are also fed up of the constant nitpicking & changing of things by management... Maybe it's about time that EVERYONE in management have got to spend an entire month, in uniform, working throughout various wards & see just what they are expecting the Nurses & Auxiliaries to contend with. Also, in our brand new hospital with single bed rooms, staff are encouraged NOT to 'waste' time' talking to the patients.. the whole point of nursing is to Care & to do that you need to build up a 'relationship' with your patient..

I will admit, those fireworks might be the best I've ever seen (minus the woke messaging). I was in awe the entire time. Bravo to the British taxpayers and company behind the display. Sadiq Khan's name belongs nowhere near this

The Australian fireworks were much better, showing gold waterfall and all that. The London fireworks look like political education instead of pleasure and fun last years. Do you remember the blm fist? What to expect from a muslim...

Worst New Year fireworks I have ever seen. I watched all the other Countries and ours were the worst! What happened to the good old 'Happy New Year?' What a shameful performance. I hope he gets kicked out of office from here to Mars, never to return. Great show BTW. x

Wow, I know the American health care system is a hot mess. Most Americans cannot afford healthcare. I’m listening to you guys and I’m wondering what is the answer?? In America healthcare has been turned into a business model . Lost the patient care aspect. I speak from experience being involved in healthcare for over 20 years. Just sad.

No-one talks about the fact one person can be voted as mayor of London with no limitations. How is that a democracy? At the very least the police powers should be taken away as their bias under his leadership has so clearly been shown since the beginning of October.

Definitely Sadiq Khan. I always watch the fireworks from London on New Years Eve but for the last couple of years they’ve been disappointing so I didn’t bother this year. Boy was I right. Just a PR exercise for the not too distant mayoral election. I can’t believe the arrogance of the man.
