Perhaps more time should be allocated to Plank of the Week. The discussions are always lively, informative and very funny. I became a fan during lockdown, something cheerful to look forward to.. I particularly liked the pub garden episode and the pub interior episode. Mike and crew determined to get back to normal in the best possible way. More time please, not time gentleman (and gentlewomen).

Not only are nurses paid well, they can retire on full NHS pension at the age of 55. I have a relative who was earning £45,000 and retired last year age 45, but went back part time. Her part-time salary plus pension means she's taking home the same amount of money as she was before she retired. Oh, and she also voted to strike.

I love Plank of the week!!! It should be reaching the masses on main stream tv. Ordinary people criticising and complaining about the decisions people who are supposed to represent us.

I said at the beginning of Brexit that the French would pay the ferry fares, well they might just be turning a blind eye even though Britain is paying them for security of the coastline.

years ago, the Drs went on strike in Ontario Canada. The death rate dropped like a stone. The news stations kept announcing that if you were VERY ill, you could go to Emerg and wait for a couple of hours. We were ecstatic.....usually you have to wait 6-8 hours.

The Average wage in the public sector is far higher than that in the private sector - get things the RIGHT-WING way round because we fund the public sector!

The NHS needs a commercial management to go in and review all the posts and get rid of all the overpaid administration, food service, maintenance that have private contracts to streamline the actual cost. Because that's where the costs lie, who needs diversity managers, that's what human resources is for, well it always was before I retired. Employ people who fulfill the job description not what colour, creed, age or religion. Don't tick boxes employ the right person period. We have gone toooo far up the garden path this has to change, there are too many supposed reasons to hire, but far many more if you want to fire an incompetent person. I know because I've witnessed it, ie bringing the company into disrepute by trashing the company by lying to the client, treating disabled clients badly and pulling the race card to mention only two. Even with actual evidence it took a long time to get rid of these people. So we need someone with backbone to say enough is enough. Just a thought.

Worried me what Isobel said about the NHS App being useless. If the App is not working correctly, then why is nobody demanding action to rectify the situation from the designer company. Secondly, the complacency of the NHS to the accept an App does not work correctly, considering all of the sensitive information it holds about us patients. Considering that AI seems to be the way the NHS is going to cut costs and staff, putting your life in the hands of a robot is extremely concerning.

You need a Lifetime Achievement Award for Plankery... Khan would be a top candidate!

Tourism! I work abroad and need hotels when I come home to London/ Kent... Very difficult to get one. If people can't get hotels, they can't come over.
